Somebody shared this video on the Natsume Yuujinchou community, and it kills me with its sweetness. So perfectly captures the series and why I love it so much. Got very close to tearing up.

It's going to be in the 100s for the next few days, ughhh. I hate hot weather! At least I'm not at or anywhere near Death Valley--it reached 129 degrees today! D: I always worry about my chickens (and other fowl) in the heat, because I did lose two hens to the heat four years ago when it was like this. My mom and I are spraying them down frequently, so hopefully they'll pull through. They got through today like troopers!

I'm having Anime Expo schedule conflicts! Just on Saturday, thankfully, but Saturday is a mess. I won a ticket to a 50-person exclusive Little Witch Academia party with Otsuka and Trigger, so I'm going to attend that. But it does mean that I'm going to miss Makoto Shinkai screening Kotonoha no Niwa. Meanwhile, Kazuhiko Inoue's panel also conflicts with the Kotonoha no Niwa reception that takes place after the screening. So, basically, three of the things I most wanted to see are in conflict with each other. I think I'm going to go to the LWA event, and then have to decide between the reception for the film (depends what the reception entails, I guess) and Inoue's panel. At least most of the autographs I'm after won't be a problem due to lots of autograph sessions--it's just that I'd really like to have Makoto Shinkai's autograph but it doesn't appear that there are even any autograph sessions for him. I wonder if it'll be a raffle thing at the screening, which would suck because a) I can't go to the screening, and b) I never win autograph raffles anyway, haha. Anyway, I will be super glad if I can get his autograph somehow, but I don't know if that's going to be a feasible goal or not. It's not like I'm going to cry forever if I don't get it, but it's an autograph I'd love to add to my collection if it's possible!

WHAT SERIES IS THAT?! It looks amazing! O_O Gah, I have such a soft spot for slice of life anime with solid story lines!

And, yes, fuck the heat. It was so humid today. >< I hate summer in SoCal. Even the nights are hot.

Natsume Yuujinchou, and it is the sweetest series EVER. I actually realized just as I was going to bed last night that I should recommend it to you, haha! It's utterly sweet, moving, and wonderful, and has slashy elements to it as well, so that's always a plus. :P I'd bet you almost anything that you'll love it! It's not really slice-of-life, but more like...hmmm...it's hard to categorize.

It goes: Natsume Yuujinchou --> Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou --> Natsume Yuujinchou San --> Natsume Yuujinchou Shi

It rarely gets humid here in NorCal, but it's been incredibly hot. ;____; Haaaaate. I'd take freezing cold over heat any day.

I can't even imagine what it must be like to have that much heat :(

It's fine! I worked all day today so I'm really tired, and I basically ended up going and eating dinner and then not going back to Animal Crossing, so that worked out okay. I apologize that I always seem to have go and do something or another--it's hard for me to play for large chunks of time because I often have to take breaks because of taking care of pets, or my mom wants me to do something, or whatever. But, I love playing with you!

It's supposed to be around 105 the next few days, which is terrible! I don't want it to be this way, noooo. At least, aside from spraying down the chickens, I can mostly stay inside with the air conditioner.

We have had horrid humidity here, which has left my left shoulder and ankle in considerable pain. Actually, I think I some how sprained my ankle?! :(

Ugh, humidity is even worse than dry heat! It was humid here a few days ago (after it rained, which is really weird for my area at this time of year), but otherwise the heat is always dry. I hope your ankle and shoulder feel better soon. ;;

Thank you! I'm excited, as I know the staff of the event (they worked on one of my favorite series before) and it should be fun! I'm sure I'll work out the kinks in my schedule somehow!

It seems VA is full of never ending humidity, that is one of the reasons why my Mom moved away. Thanks, my shoulder and ankle seem to be doing better today. Though, I have to walk-up to the store and do the monthly grocery shopping. Hopefully, the ankle will continue to behave...;)

Again, it sounds like you need the break from everything. Have a great time and I wish I could go!
