My friend who I met on Tumblr and turned out to be local came over the other day, and we totally hit it off! We were talking nonstop from 5 PM until 2:15 AM, haha, and it was awesome! We have a TON of things in common and she's only a half-hour away. She even brought one of her chickens with her. I'm so excited to have a new IRL friend, and hopefully we'll be able to hang out pretty often! I still can't believe that I found someone who is into chickens, anime, Pokémon, AND is local! I mean, seriously, that's just crazy.

I decided to buy Animal Crossing: New Leaf when it was released, basically due to all the hype. It was a good decision--I'm really enjoying it so far! I got my fishing rod today and my life has been consumed by fishing, haha. I've also been doing some visiting of other people's towns and having people visit me and stuff.

I still have a lot to and learn and figure out, but there's plenty of time for that. :D

The only downside is that I want to watch some anime, but I have to get myself to stop playing first.

I'm excited for E3's Pokémon presentation tomorrow night!
