pacificpikachuI've done so little today, augh. Basically just slept and attempted to get myself motivated but failed all day.
Anyway, at least I started Shinsekai Yori. I was worried the files wouldn't work, but a simple switch from Media Player Classic to VLC solved it. I've only watched two episodes so far, but I already really like it! The art is so pretty, and it has the kind of creepy/bizarre atmosphere that I love. It really feels like it's right up my alley.
I'm also DLing The Tatami Galaxy, NHK ni Youkoso, Kotonoha no Niwa, and Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo (how did I manage to miss a Makoto Shinkai movie from years ago, and I didn't even know of its existence?). I'm looking forward to seeing lots of new anime, especially because it'll be summer soon and I hate summer weather. I want to watch several of Masaaki Yuasa's works in the next month, because he'll be at AX. I saw most of Kaiba when it was released, but never watched the last few episodes for some reason. Anyway, from what I've seen of his stuff, he's really a unique director, so it'll be cool to meet him. I'm looking forward to several of AX's guests, though there's no one I'm frothing at the mouth about yet. I do want to meet Inoue-san, though!
I'm a little worried about finances, just because I have to keep my Otakon travels in mind, but I think I'll be able to pull off the cons I want to go to, even if it means not spending too frivolously. It's just that AX is a somewhat expensive con, but I just have to be careful and try not to stress too much. It's just hard because of all the Eevee promotions at PokéCen, which make it so I have to spend some money!
I'm all impatient to get my tablet! I keep checking the shipping status for no reason today, haha.

Hope your tablet arrives soon, I too tend to be impatient when waiting on packages...XD
