Mar. 20th, 2013 01:18 pmAnyway, I got Fire Emblem: Awakening last night and it's awesome! I have it on Normal, which is definitely all I can handle for now, and on Casual because I'm too much of a wimp to handle losing my characters, hahaha. But I'm enjoying it so far. I keep resetting battles for the outcomes I want, but as far as I understand, that's what most people do?
I wanted to recruit Donnell because I heard he gets awesome later on, but I couldn't seem to make it happen from where I saved, no matter what tricks I tried, so I just gave up on that. Maybe next file.
It's a lot of fun so I'm glad I gave it a chance. Thanks to those who urged me to get it! I'm not much of a gamer, so it feels sort of funny to branch out of Pokémon. I'm sure I'll love it even more and more as it goes on. If anyone has tips--like specific characters to recruit/heavily use, or really anything, let me know.
I'm glad I have a distraction from my sadness about losing my chicken. ;; I'm just trying to distract myself until it stops hurting so much to think about it, which might be a while because it's my fault...
Of course, my mom's going to be all annoyed that all I do is play the game, but whatever. Otherwise I'm either just watching TV or on the computer, so basically there's no productive option there. I wish I could bring myself to be more productive, I really do. I'll try to do at least a few things today, though, if I can.
