I totally love my new 3DS! * A * It's way more of an upgrade from DS Lite than I was expecting, for whatever reason, with so much to do! I bought Pokédex 3D Pro and Dream Radar last night, other than that I've only downloaded free things. I haven't bought any 3DS games yet, but I'll get Rumble Blast and the Ranger games I missed (Shadows of Almia and Guardian Signs) when I have the money/find them cheap enough. And of course I'll be buying the new Mystery Dungeon game as soon as it comes out.

I'm also seriously considering getting Fire Emblem because I've heard so many great things about it. I watched the trailer and it did look awesome. There was one physical copy at Target, but I wasn't sure I was ready to pay $40 yet, so I'll get it when I have more to spend.

My 3DS came with Mario Kart preloaded for free, so that's awesome. I've been playing it quite a bit already since last night.

I'm excited to customize my 3DS as well!

As for 3DS friend codes... I don't think you can do much with them other than Swapnote. I never use Swapnote. If you find some other use for the friend codes, let me know and I'll give you mine.

Yeah, I'm really thinking I'll go for it, partly because of all your glowing praise! :D It's about time for me to try out non-Pokémon games, haha, and it looks pretty amazing. I don't know when I'll get it, but I'd definitely like to!

I haven't noticed anything you can do with them yet, either, but I am having fun drawing things and sending them to people!

I was surprised by how different the 3DS is, too!! I espected it to basically be the same as a DS Lite, just with spiffy new graphics, to be honest.

confession: I first tried to turn it on by toggling the wireless switch since that's where the power is on the DS XD

Oh man, I did that for about five minutes, hahaha. I was upset, thinking it was broken, and then I consulted the manual and felt foolish.XD
