I'm heading to San Francisco Japantown most likely the 14th (late afternoon or evening) and 15th (all day), if anyone in the bay area wants to meet up and wander Japantown with me! If no one can, it's fine, though! It's for my birthday, which is the 14th. I haven't been to Japantown since last year's birthday, so I'm excited to go back. I have lots of happy memories associated with Japantown, and I love going shopping there and eating lots of delicious food.

Finally my paycheck went through! Though I'm annoyed because now the bank charged me an overdraft fee because they held on to the paycheck for so long. Um, bank, that's not my fault and I shouldn't have to pay for it. I'll see if I can get it reversed. I hate how banks use sneaky methods to get overdraft fees. They really do put through spending transactions right away if you don't have money in your account, and then hold on to deposits. So irritating.

Anyway, going to go get a 3DS XL today!

Lost a cel that I wanted, but didn't want it enough to really fight for it, haha... On one hand, it's a cute cel (and it's Ash and Misty) and I would have liked to have it, but on the other hand, it would have made me financially stressed if I did win it, so perhaps it's for the best that I didn't win it. Just a bit disappointed anyway, because it's definitely cute and I didn't go as high as I probably should have if I really wanted to win. Oh well--I'm happy with where my cel collection is at for now, and eventually more Ash and Misty cels will pop up! I had minor quibbles with the animation style of the cel anyway, to be silly about these things. Just gotta let go of it and not dwell on it! This means I'll have some spending money in San Francisco.

I'm always out on Fridays and that Thursday I'll be hanging around the DNA Lounge or some other SoMa club (psst, the Death Guild's anniversary is the 18th if you can make that).

That said, I can hang out with you on your 3DS! My Friend Code is 5086-0695-4235. Also, if I may suggest a game? Kid Icarus: Uprising. Tied with Fire Emblem Awakening for best 3DS game and it has great multiplayer! We can go on team battles!

Is that anywhere near Japantown? I love San Francisco but I don't know my way around all that well, mostly just to Japantown, Slim's, and some of the major landmarks. I'll probably just be sticking around Japantown while I'm there, but I'd love to meet you if you'll be around there! If not, you go to Fanime, don't you? Unfortunately I won't be around on the 18th, but that sounds fun!

A lot of the nightclubs are around 11th and Harrison, so significantly further away from Japantown. It's nice to know you like our landmarks, but I feel that the real San Francisco experience is to be had with casual conversations with the people. Not necessarily at the clubs, but you know what I mean, right?

I'm not sure if I'll be going to Fanime on the days you'll be going. I might be in an internship program at that holiday weekend.
