Nov. 12th, 2012 08:55 pmStill so stressed out about Eevee collection! There keeps being more and more merchandise, and I really want full sets of all the plush and everything else Umbreon-related. ;; I have a fair amount of money saved for the Eevee items (not enough for everything, but enough for a good chunk at least), but I missed out for the moment because I didn't order before Gin cut her orders off. I'm sure I'll still be able to order what I want, and I might just get full plush sets from Y!J, but ugh, it still makes me more nervous than is really warranted. I don't want to think about it until I have most of the items, ahhhh...why am I taking this so seriously? I'll be able to get the items still even if I don't get them immediately.
I figure the TOMY plush will be around for a while so I could probably wait a little on them, but they're so cute that I don't want to wait on them, LOL. So, we'll see.
I really liked the new pony episodes! It was a good story. I thought it was a little anticlimactic somehow, just the ending, but I still thought it was an awesome pair of episodes to start off the season! I really enjoy all these two-episode arcs. I'm going to rewatch the episodes tomorrow probably.
Yesterday was the DIXON CORGI FAIRE, AKA one of the best things every year aside from anime conventions! \o/ It was super fun and Honey and Hooch had a great time, too! Being surrounded by hundreds of corgis is so fun and hilarious. I love the costume contest and the games and the flea market (super cheap corgi stuff, yeahhh--spent less than $20 and got all this great stuff, and the money goes to rescuing more corgis). However, my favorite part is that during and after the event, everyone goes out to the big field and lets their corgis loose. Then the corgis all run around, play, visit, and have a grand time. My corgis were charming the masses, migrating from group of people to group of people to visit. My corgis are always so well-received, hahaha. They're smaller than most corgis, and most people mistake Hooch for a puppy. ♥ Honey likes to charm people by randomly walking up to them and immediately flipping over for belly rubs, then smiling when people give them to her (and howling and making crazy faces when people stop).
The Corgi Faire makes me so happy. ; A ;
After that I went shopping for a bit to kill time, because I picked up a peahen on the way home but her person had to come home from work first. I went to Ikea and was strangely barely interested in anything (normally I think Ikea is like a wonderland), and Wal-Mart. I got some My Little Pony bubble bath with these derp pony containers, haha. Some other little things, too.
The peahen is rather scared for now, but Chelsea already seems happy that she's here. I need to give her a name! I got her because her partner peacock died, so she was all alone in a pen for a long time and her person wanted her to go somewhere where she could be with other peafowl. And Chelsea didn't have any fellow peafowl here, either, so now they have each other! I still want a peacock, though--I'll get one soon enough. Then I'm done adding to my fowl for quite a while.
NaNo is going pretty well... I have 22k+, but I didn't write yesterday because I was so exhausted after being out and about doing stuff for twelve hours straight. I keep swinging back and forth between wanting to do it and not wanting to do it. I'm fine once I actually write, and I feel like, "Pssht, this is a piece of cake and I don't know why I whine about it!", and then other times I just feel really lazy and want to write fanfiction and draw instead and do nothing instead. ; 3 ;
The chickie who Tosca caught the other day is doing totally fine now, thankfully! He's been on antibiotics and his only wound is this tiny scratch on his leg that's barely noticeable. I'm so glad it didn't end badly.

Date: 2012-11-13 07:33 pm (UTC)I feel the same way about the TOMYs! They're cute, but I'm not super sold on them? I figure they've got a better chance of sticking around, not to mention those plush often seem to get imported to other countries (Europe, etc.) in case my mind changes.
The corgi faire sounds super fun! I'm glad you and your pups had a great time!
