Mom and I went to a dog beach at north shore Lake Tahoe yesterday, and it was absolutely beautiful! I took a bunch of pictures that I'll post soon, once I've messed with them a bit. The dogs all had a great time and it was relaxing and gorgeous there. Even saw a bald eagle being chased by two crows! The corgis herded dogs fetching toys in the water, and Honey bit at the waves for some reason and trotted along the shoreline. I skipped stones on the lake and hunted for especially smooth or unusual pebbles. Then we went out for (veggie) sushi and headed home.

I did fall in a hole and skin my knees as we were leaving the dog beach, though. Oh well, they're not too bad, just a bit bruised/sore.

The only thing that is a downside to all of my working this week (aside from waking up early) is that I have a Halloween fanfic that I want to finish/post soon, but I have to finish it first, and then I have to edit it until I feel it's halfway decent, which it is definitely not at this point. I'm unhappy with the writing I've done on it to be honest, it's just rough and imprecise, but I like the story/character interactions and my mental picture of it is good so I must prevail. I started writing this fanfic months and months ago, obviously haven't done much on it, but it would be nice to post a holiday 'fic in time for the actual holiday for once. Hopefully I'll find some time and energy to do that sometime before Halloween. It's at about 2000 words, I'd like to double or triple that.

I also need to do more scanning for Pokéscans. Maybe a bit later tonight, I need to rest my muscles first because I feel rather achy for some reason.

I'm a bit nervous about the election, though I'm pretty sure Obama is going to win? I don't know why I have that confidence, but I do. But if Romney wins, I will not be happy at all (understatement). ;A; I just hope the next debates will be better!

Anyway, uh, I guess that's all for now...

Dog beach?

If Romney wins, you can at least take solace (well, dark consolation) in the fact that he'll be more lenient to the Asian markets, import or otherwise.

I have that same nervousness about the election! If Romney wins, I might actually have to leave the country for the next four years. 3: Probably not... seriously, but oh, would my faith in America be gone. It scares me knowing that there actually are people out there that plan to vote for him.

Awww. I'm awfully glad you didn't break anything!!! It'll take a few days to find all of the bumps and bruises from the fall. Glad you had a wonderful time in spite of it all.
