Sep. 29th, 2012 08:06 pmI wrote an entry the other day on minor technology woes, but never posted it, so meh.
I think I have a slight fever or something today. ;; I've been emotionally in the dumps all day for no reason, and I think it's caused by this. My face feels hot, I'm slightly achy all over, my stomach hurts a bit, and I'm slightly woozy. Not much of an appetite either. I slept for a few hours after work, but still feel weird. It's all minor symptoms, but annoying.
Tomorrow, though, I'm going to Sac-Con in Sacramento, so that should be fun. It's not a proper con, just a one-day toy/anime/comic show, but it should be fun nonetheless. I'm bringing my Pokémon merchandise with me, just in case, though I don't know how I can sell it without a table. Still, it's worth a shot. My brother and his friend are coming with me, so that way if I don't feel well I won't have to drive.
I'm also picking up a chicken while I'm there. She's a sultan pullet who has been bullied extensively by her flock. When I heard her story, I wanted to reach out, because it reminds me of The Salula and I loved The Salula.
My self-esteem and feelings about my abilities and talents go downhill when I don't feel physically well. I guess that's probably normal, though for me it's tough because my health is so-so at best. I wish I could just feel better. I think getting some social contact and doing something geeky tomorrow might help a bit.
September is almost over and it still feels like summer during the day here! I hope we get some proper fall weather soon.
