Thank you, delicious food and silly things on the internet, for taking me out of the existential angst bubble I was stuck in for most of today. The pity party is over for now.

Specifically, I'm reading Least Helpful, which cracks me up. Human stupidity really is infinite, isn't it? Also Literally Unbelieveable, where people freak out about Onion articles and completely miss the point that they're satire. (And sometimes even refuse to accept that the Onion really is fake despite it saying so right on the website.)

PokéScans has almost 200 followers, yay! I hope it continues to grow. I'm having fun checking it constantly running it and watching peoples' reactions. Scanning images is time-consuming, but I figure if I do it for a few hours once a week or thereabouts, that's not too bad.

I scanned one of the old 4koma books I have yesterday, and there was so much pervy Red that it was hilarious. Ah, the strangeness contained in those official Pokémon books...

The first time I read an Onion article, I didn't realize it was satire until about 2/3 of the way through. (In my defense, someone had printed it off the internet and given it to me, so the website disclaimer wasn't there.)

Well, they're well-written, but...I mean, it takes like two seconds for people to Google that it's fake, haha! It just cracks me up, people getting really really butthurt and upset about things that aren't even remotely real.

Some people probably don't think to Google it. I first read The Onion in a classroom setting, and the teacher presented it as "current events news", so I just assumed that it was a legit news source (albeit one with a really weird name).

Then again, I am kind of dumb and gullible about things like this. I have a hard time picking up satire and I can never tell when people are lying.

I don't have a tumblr so I'm not following (?) it, but I bookmarked it so I can check on it! :D

Great! I think you'll enjoy it. Some of these books have amusing, cute, and strange artwork and it's pretty fun to look through them.
