- My dream last night was another violent dream. I'm not sure why I'm having these all of the sudden! I wonder if the losses of Captain, Molly, and Swordfish are weighing on my subconscious. (I know that I still feel intense pangs of sadness every time I think of Molly and Swordfish. Not so much Captain, but still. Also, intense sadness if I allow myself to think of my lovebird Oliver, who my foster dog killed a while ago.)

Anyway, in this dream, I somehow ended up with four more turkeys in addition to Augustus. They were small white turkeys in the sense that they were short in height, but they were broad-breasted (rapidly growing, heavy) turkeys, too. Dream me was calling them Midget Whites, which are a real breed of turkey, but in reality they are not broad-breasted turkeys. For some reason, I decided to keep two turkeys and allow two turkeys to be killed for Thanksgiving so my relatives could eat them. (I'm not sure why--of course in real life, the idea of this is unimaginably horrible and completely against my morals.)

On Thanksgiving, I killed one of the turkeys. I never saw the scene of the turkey being killed in the dream even though I was the one who did it, only before and after. My mind in the dream blocked out the act of killing and the blood somehow. My relatives ate the turkey, and they complained about how they didn't like the taste of the turkey. I felt deeply betrayed and saddened by this, as the turkey had been killed for this and here they were complaining about his flesh. I decided not to allow the other turkey to be killed. I kept crying and crying, thinking of the turkey who was already killed, and I was deeply remorseful and regretted allowing him to be killed.

We had promised the second turkey to a family friend (who I don't think exists in real life) who was low income and couldn't afford a turkey for her family. Everyone was trying to pressure me into killing the second turkey, too, but I refused. I kept crying and crying. I went to my friend's house instead because for some reason she had a bunch of turkey carcasses in her freezer and I figured I might as well give the friend a turkey anyway if they were just in my friend's freezer.

Anyway, I gave her the turkey carcass from my friend's freezer and the dream ended.

- This dream I'm sure I'm not remembering entirely correctly, as I had it the other night. But I wanted to write it down anyway!

I was in Japan with my mom and brother. It looked more like Hawaii in retrospect, though. We were walking on this hill with houses, and came across this beautiful house. There were glass gazebos and other fancy, interesting things surrounding the house. There were chickens outside of the house, so I was looking at the chickens and following them around. I think the chickens went in the house somehow, so I followed them inside. The house was incredibly fancy and neat.

The owner of the house showed up and greeted us, and I told him I was just following the chickens. I thought it was strange that the house was so neat and beautiful, yet the chickens went inside of it.

Anyway, the owner was this extremely rich, charming man, maybe middle-aged. He offered to give us a tour of his house. He had all these incredible contraptions and rooms with different themes and things to them. It was a place of wonders that I can't even describe. There was this part of the stairwell where the stairwell was blocked by all these huge, beautiful pieces of glass or crystals--like a gigantic chandelier, kind of? He snapped his fingers or something and these receded to the ceiling so we could pass.

I also remember there was a section of the house with a restaurant, with personal chefs, a stage for entertainment, and it was very large and open, almost as if it were not indoors at all (but I think it was). It was tropical-themed. Other people could come to the restaurant, too, and were sitting around at different tables happily.

I wish I could remember what else there was, but it faded nearly as soon as I woke up. It was so wondrous, though. Gardens, and views, and collectibles, and artwork, and servants everywhere.

Well, it turned out the man was in fact somehow turning people into statues or artworks, hence why he had invited us in so readily. He turned my mother and brother into statues so I fled. I was leaping in a super-human manner, maybe one hundred feet at a time, and his servants were following me. That's all I really remember.

- There was a dream that was possibly attached to the other dream and possibly separate, too. Something about a Japanese convenience store, but I'm not sure what. Possibly robbers involved, possibly me working at the store, and I can't remember what else.

- I had a dream a while ago, too, and again I'm sure I'm not remembering it all correctly but here it goes.

I was petsitting for someone with a huge mansion. I was there before they left, and they had a large family and they were getting the family ready to go. There were several guys around my age among the kids, and I remember finding at least one or two of them attractive. (Weird for me as I'm demisexual and not attracted to nearly anyone unless I already know them/have romantic feelings for them.) However, there was some sort of reason that I couldn't pursue them, some ideological rift between us. Something about the way I behaved that they found barbaric or something. I flirted with them somewhat anyway.

I went with the family to the airport, and somehow they brought me on a trip briefly, to England or something. It makes no sense because I don't remember any flights or even being there, just being at the airport with them. I was supposed to be meet them somewhere but it was complicated somehow.

Anyway, I watched their dogs and it was fairly uneventful. I remember staying and sleeping up on the mantle, though I don't know why or how I would get up on someone's mantle anyway.

I remember the lady of the house, when she got back or something, telling me the reason she had me petsit was because she felt I had an intuitive ability to read the mind of her dogs, so that was the real motive, and I was quite honored.

The dream shifted at this point to the house being that of a friend of mine instead, though I don't remember seeing her family at all. The previous part of the dream stopped being relevant. My friend told me she thought one of the rooms was haunted, and we went into this room together to check it out at night. (Though all was dimly lit with lights I never saw.)

The room was huge, like a room that a dealer's room would be in at a con, but empty. The walls were moderately dark, like wood, and I think it was carpeted. Anyway, we went in there, and stood there for a while. Suddenly, the ghost of a young girl appeared. She was blond and dressed like someone going on vacation, I think--a straw hat, maybe, light colors. She looked completely solid, like a real person, but as soon as she appeared, she was gone. We both looked at each other like, "Did you see that?!" and we both had.

It was my friend's birthday next, and for some reason for her birthday she decided to have an Artist's Alley (like at a con) in that room. I remember wandering it and appreciating all the art. Someone was selling a custom surfing Pikachu shirt, but they were asking some ridiculous amount for it, like $50, so I decided to pass although I did want it.

From there, I don't remember much.

Okay, that's a long dream log. Enough with that for now!

Turk seemed to be doing so well in with the seramas, until I looked at the faces of Prince and Peanut Butter! Looks like Turk has been fighting with them, as they both have some minor wounds. What an odd bird Turk is. He acts like such a scaredy-cat, but I doubt Prince and Peanut Butter are fighting each other... Shamo and Asil are both known for being fighting breeds, so it's not that surprising. Anyway, now Turk's in his own pen inside my biggest chicken coop, with a box to sleep in and his own food and water. He seems content with that.

I moved Butterscotch and her babies outside, so now Prince's pen is like a nursery! Lots of babies running around. They look more and more interesting by the day! I look forward to seeing the rainbow of color once they grow up.

Chai finally managed to hatch herself a chick, too (she's been sitting on eggs for literally months), so she and her chick now have the big terrarium inside.

I'm going to go bathe the corgis now, as they're quite dirty. It's been so dusty lately!
