Turk is doing well! I think he's either a Shamo or an Asil, but it's possible he's not one of those. Butterscotch, the mama chicken currently in the house with her four chicks, never did give up on him being the enemy, so I moved Turk into one of the outdoor serama pens instead. He's been doing well there since. He's been holding his own, even if other birds aren't the friendliest to him. They're not really mean to him, just sort of indifferent.

Last night I figured I'd find him sitting in some lonely corner. Instead, I saw his head peeking out from underneath a bunch of seramas, on top of their chicken house. Tonight, he went in the chicken house and decided to snuggle up with Charming. Hahaha, he's just making himself right at home! He's such a character. I got some pictures of him, too!

This is him in comparison with one of my serama chicks. He's around the same age as her, if not younger than she is. You can see he's a pretty funny-looking bird currently. He's half-bald and awkward, but peeps in a high-pitched voice. He wouldn't stay still for a second, hence my hand.

Better look at him, sort of:

With my dirty chicken coop shoe, which isn't even on properly. He looks smaller than he is in this picture:

Oh, and I also got the new 2013 My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic calendar today! It's super cute, much cuter than last years'. Nice design choices!

I got six extras, so if you want one, they'll be $9 shipped. They're about 9" x 9", approximately?

I also have a ton of the Wal-Mart posters, which are also super cute, but I'm a bit nervous to ship them. I'd need a bunch of poster tubes and I don't think there's a cheap source for them in my area.

Mom and I went to a Democratic party at a restaurant in our area last night to watch Obama's speech. It was a lot of fun. There were probably 100 people there and everyone was so exuberant! I thought the speeches at the DNC have been fantastic. I watched nearly all of them.

I organized my sales stuff somewhat today. It's overwhelming! So much stuff. I'm seriously going to have to see about being a dealer at some cons at some point, as I certainly have enough.

I still need to write about Chihayafuru! I'll do that soon.

Wow, Turk does look like a turkey!

Most post offices have free mailing tubes, but they're Priority Mail tubes. In the past I've found cheap poster tubes at Walmart. (They were about $2 I think), and other people have said that ebay has good deals if you're buying multiple tubes.

Wow, Turk is a big fellow!! Even his feathers are similar in color to that of a turkey. I'm glad he is getting along well with your other chickens...:3

I just got some poster tubes off of eBay:

Oh crap, it looks like the seller has upped their price! After shipping I only paid $1.99 a tube. At the new price, it looks as if you would pay $2.13 a tube, well that stinks...:\

I see what is going on, the shipping price is based on location. Since you are in CA, it costs a few cents more...
