I beat the first story arc in Pokémon Conquest! Now I'm reading about the post-game, and man, this game is so much longer and more detailed than I thought! I was initially disappointed that I can't play as my main character and Umbreon for a while as I do the side stories, but now I see it all comes back to the original main story eventually. Anyway, it's a good thing I enjoy the gameplay and having a long, extensive game to play because I'll be in it for the long haul. (Though probably not playing it at the same rate I have been, because that's just crazy.)

When I missed my JolteonI got the Eevee encounter code from Gamestop n_n; I ended up giving some random girl a Vaporeon!

But yeah, I also was really impressed with how many side stories there were post-game. I only played through maybe 5 of them before getting bored, though...

I'm still plugging a way at the side quests. I do agree...it was a tad depressing that I don't get to be my main character anymore. Though, I am enjoying filling the shoes of other warlord for a bit. Some of the side stories are similar and can get a tad tedious, but I am continuing to keep at it...;)
