Today's weather was strange! I woke up to a brief thunderstorm, and then it was incredibly humid for most of the day. It felt way more like east coast or even Japan weather than California. I can't even remember the last time it was that humid here.

I like the thunderstorms, but the humid places can keep their humidity, thanks. I'll stick with the usual dry heat!

A bit ago I was walking into the kitchen and heard something thud against the ground. I thought it was a large bug or something, but instead I found a pacific treefrog! Pale green one. So cute. I took him outside. I attempted to take a picture of him on my hand, but he jumped too quickly. Strange thing to find in the kitchen. We get alligator lizards in the house sometimes, but frogs...? Good thing I love frogs.

I gave Augustus the turkey a hug earlier. He put up with it but kind of pressed against me like, "What is this? I'm too manly for this!" LOL.

I finally cataloged all of my fowl the other day! 80 chickens (well, 81 now because a chick hatched today, but I don't think it's going to make it because it has some issues), 12 ducks, 1 turkey, 1 peahen, and 1 goose. Some of the chickens still need names, so I'm going to post pictures of them soon in hopes that I can get some ideas!

I get Green Tree Frogs in my apartment from time to time, they live on the sides of the building. When it rains they sing and I love listening to them. The last one I found in here was really dehydrated, carpeting will do that to them. So, I put him in a critter keeper with a thin layer of water on the bottom. As soon as he returned to the normal bright green color, I took him back outside...:3

I had pet green tree frogs when I was younger for years. They're so cute! It's drier here, so while we do have our pacific treefrogs, they don't usually get in the house. There's a resident one that lives right outside our door, though--I'm not sure if the one inside was the same one or not.

That's great he revived when you gave him some moisture! Sometimes that's all it takes.

It could of possibly been the one that lives outside the door? Maybe, he/she hopped the wrong way or was startled? Frogs can be funny sometimes, LOL!! Not to long ago, Rodney had a skink in his apartment. Though, he lives downstairs...:3

I guess it is a good thing that I have experience with frogs?! There is a little girl, that lives in the complex who loves frogs and toads. Sadly, whenever she finds one, the girl carries them around and plays with them so much they end-up dead. I tried taking one away from her once, the girl cried and her Mom shot lasers out of her eyes at me...;_;

You find more interesting things in your house than I ever will, I bet XD Well, I found a mouse once, but not without the help of my cat.
