May. 23rd, 2012 06:36 amPhew, finally my Ebay auctions are paying off! And mostly all I've sold is TCG, so once I get into the figures and everything it may get even better. I can't transfer this money in time for Fanime so my mom will probably have to lend me money for a few days, but at least this is some good news! My finances are still terrible and I'm going to have to work things out in June, but at least after Fanime I'll have a month to get finances figured out for Anime Expo.
I'll be shipping everything paid off tomorrow, so that'll be a lot of packaging, but I feel like packaging is no longer nearly as stressful as it used to be. I'm slowly getting better with figuring out how to do that easily.
I've found my friends and I some roommates for Fanime, and they sound like fun! One's a big Pokémon fan, one's a big MLP fan, and the other I haven't talked to in much detail yet.
Two more chickies hatched today, they are so cute! I'll take pictures of them tomorrow if I find time. I only hope Miranda accepts them, sometimes hens can be weird about taking in younger chicks.
Two of my neighbors came over today to meet some of the animals, just for the fun of it. They loved the gosling and Augustus the turkey! It's official, everyone loves those two. They're just too charming not to love.
I don't know if I posted about it, but mom put up a horse set up on our property, so we have our horse living here now. We're also boarding another horse, an adorable mare named Domino. Domino left for part of the day today to be ridden, and Rivie had such a fit! He whinnied for hours and even managed to get one of his shoes off.
Anyway, lots to do tomorrow!

Date: 2012-05-23 01:44 pm (UTC)You may want to consider getting someone's old retired horse, just as a companion for when one of the horses leaves for the day. That is what my Mom has done, it's an idea...;)

Yeah, we've thought about it! My mom wants a second riding horse, though, but she goes back and forth on whether she has time and money for a second horse. There's a chance she may adopt the horse we're boarding, but it depends on a number of things.
I need to pay you, I'll do that tomorrow! I'm so sorry for the delay, I've just had a tough time with money lately. ;;

Horses do take a lot of care and money. I'd love to have a horse of my own, but I could never afford one. At least, I can go riding at Dream Catchers...:D
Right now, I can use every penny I can get. As you probably know I am having some serious issues with Sage's enclosure and it will be several more weeks before I get the money I requested from Rodney's parents...:\
