Well, I accomplished some things today, at least! I assembled my gigantic leaf from IKEA (it is now suspended over my bed) as well as a little light I got there as well, assembled a cart thing for carrying heavy items that my mom bought, put up a lovely framed leopard art print that I found at the thrift store, and got one package ready to go out when I get a chance. I also did some sketching, but whenever I tried to get anything beyond being a vague sketch, I couldn't make it work. It's weird how artists have days like that, where you just can't make things look right for some unknown reason. (And the opposite kind of day, where everything you draw works out just right! I've always seemed to have this fall on a bad day for it, though, such as when I'm extremely busy, haha.) At least I got some sketches down so I can return to them when I'm not cursed.

I also took yet another 150 chicken pictures. I'm a bit fixated on my fowl. Now if only I could find the motivation to actually post the pictures I've taken! I do need help naming several of these lovely birds.

The weather has become quite hot in the last two days. The dogs and chickens were both panting in the sun today and yesterday. The corgis get hot easily due to their thick coats, and Hana is black and medium-haired so she does as well, but the chickens don't typically get hot so easily. I knew we were going to have another April of half winter, half summer! That seems to happen here often. I don't know where our spring went.

Not much I want to post about, nothing all that interesting is going on. My throat hurts, but this is normal for me. I had an ultrasound on my thyroid done earlier in the week. (Though I haven't talked to my doctor for results yet.) Ultrasounds are cool! I wish I could just get everything ultrasounded for my own amusement, because that's the weird kind of person I am. I'm having an echocardiogram sometime soon because my doctor thought he may have heard a heart murmur? I doubt it, and he said it was likely nothing, but we'll see. I'm just glad I'm being taken seriously, because it's no fun being tired and somewhat sick feeling nearly all of the time. It could be weeks until the thyroid medication takes effect, though I feel like it likely will help.

Just being a Pokégeek as usual, watching the anime, reading fanfiction, saving fanart, searching auction sites, DLing Japanese episodes, and so on. The usual. Also downloading some other anime. I intend to watch at least a few series before Fanime so I'm a little more up-to-date!

Still being terrible about replying to comments, sorry about that. I will get to it, eventually!

I can honestly say I have never had an ultrasound before. I once was supposed to get one but never did mostly because I was nervous and I asked if there was another way around it which there way. ^^; Not sure why I am nervous since I know they don't hurt but I am. xD

Can't wait to see photos of your birds. ^_^

Yay Chickens! My daughter's bff that she has lived with before and after my daughter got married, finally bought a house. So the happy 3some moved into said house and promptly bought chickens. They have 2 in a pen in the back yard and I advised that I knew a bit of a chicken expert aka YOU!

Are you on Facebook (I can never keep track of everyone who is where and then match them all up and keep it straight, heck I am lucky if i remember who I am and different user names and passwords) but anyway...Can I give them your info to get together for some questtions???
