Oh, my sleep schedule. As usual, my nocturnal side begins taking over given even the slightest chance.

I'll feel sleepy from about 6 PM to 11 PM or so and during that time I'll do something brainless like TV or Tumblr, and then--suddenly awake again! Productive! Mind is clear and alert! Ready to take on the world! Want to write, draw, organize, plan things, start projects, visit a thousand websites, and so on!

I say I'll be in bed by 2 AM, but usually I don't get to bed until 2:30 AM if I'm lucky.

Sigh. Not really complaining, in some ways I like my nocturnal internal clock, it's just silly because I've always been nocturnal, even as a small child, and I seem unable to get into a more "normal" sleep pattern unless I have several weeks of getting up early consistently, and then the second getting up early is no longer necessary, back to being mostly nocturnal again.

At least now I'm only working three days a week, and I don't have to be at work until 10 AM, so I can usually sleep in until 9:15 AM or so. I used to be getting up for work at 8:15 AM and that one hour earlier was torturous.

Better go bid on this item and then get to bed! I considered waking up for the item ending at around 6 AM my time, but...meh, I'll just set my max bid and if I don't win, I'm not willing to go higher anyway. As much as I want it, have to set my limitations somewhere.

I possess nearly the exact same sleep-wake schedule. I found a good way to return to a normal rhythm is to engage in mentally-heavy activities at around six or so, as those stimuli will cause your brain to enter an alarmed and, I guess you can say refreshed?, state for the next few hours, followed by a slow crash. I also found that alcohol may help, but that is rather dangerous.
