Well, a different deputy bidder had their eyes set on ol' giant Lapras plush (my grail), so I was outbid this time.

I'll be waiting patiently for the next one to pop up, and hopefully I'll be able to establish some savings for it before then. I hope whoever won it is super excited and will take awesome care of it!

I'm sure someday I'll have one, even if it takes years. That's what grails are all about, right?

*snugs* I'm so sorry. ;-; I admit, I saw that comm post and saw a little red, that was a bit insensitive both to you and the winner.

That's 100% true though, it just makes you more prepared for the next one! <3 I had to go through three failures but the third actually lead to Raikou in the end. I don't imagine there are too many other people who would want Lapras, either, at least compared to a beast or (god help anyone after it) Lugia.

It's fine! When I posted, I hadn't seen the comm post, as the auction hadn't entirely ended yet (but it had ended for me--my max bid was like half of what it went for). I saw it and I think the person in question is just naive and a little rude as a result. ^^;

It definitely helped me feel more prepared. I think there are less people after Lapras, but it also doesn't pop up too often. I'm sure I will get one, though, someday, and it will be a beautiful day when I do! This time I wasn't really ready to fight for it but hopefully next time I will be. (And if not, I have no plans of giving up until I have one!)

Yes, it's just so beautiful! It's the only Lapras plush I'm missing, I have all the others! *A* There will definitely be more chances, and I know one of those chances will work out for me. This one's timing wasn't the best, so it's all right. It also went for more than I've generally seen it go for.

I wasn't sure if you were after Lapras or Lugia. It sucks that you lost it, but if I've learned anything from the comm, it's that the giant plush will pop up again. (What did Lapras close for, btw? I was only watching Lugia.)

And ew, that comm post. People need to keep their bawwwwing over losing auctions to their personal journals. I was really upset when I kept losing the shiny beast Pokedolls and giant Suicune plush, but I didn't post to the comm about it. I thought there were comm rules about whining over lost auctions.

Yes, it will! I'm not too upset about it--I got my fair shot at it, and it just went too high, so that's all right.

It went for 138000 yen, I believe? I need to go screencap it when I get a chance because I screencap giant auctions. XD

Yeah, the person was kind of whiny, but I think they're new. ^^; Hopefully they'll learn, and if not...well.

Wow, I had no idea that there were giants on Y!Japan. I need to keep up. ^^; (I actually thought you had spotted that Umbreon strap.) But that does suck about losing. <3 With giants I can easily see those going for well over anyone's budget. (I'd love the Entei myself but it's so far out of reach of what I imagine would be the price. x_x)

I do hope that Lapras comes around again for you. I will defiantly keep an eye open for you. It looks like such a beautiful plush. :3 (Seeing the plush photo I would seriously be tempted to put smaller plush on it as if they were riding her. x3)

The Umbreon strap was the grail I missed out on that went cheap a few months ago when I was computerless. (Still feel like banging my head against something over that one. The ONE week I didn't search for Umbreon this year!) This time, I don't feel bad about losing Lapras because it simply went outside of what I can afford. I got my fair shot at it. :D I know it'll pop up again!

It will come around again! Hopefully when I'm a bit more prepared, too. :D It does look totally gorgeous, and I will definitely have plush riding on it, haha. I also must sit on it at least once myself. XD (It has no legs to squish so I won't feel guilty.)
