Downloaded the NaNoWriMo trial version of Scrivener, and I'm enjoying filling out character bios in it! Seems like a nice program, I'm excited to play with it this year.

If you're doing NaNoWriMo or write in general, you may want to check it out! It's user-friendly and allows for a lot of outlining, notes, character pictures and information that is easily accessed while writing, and all while still giving you the option of just straight out writing if you prefer.

I love Scrivener, I've been using it for a couple of months. To me it feels like Photoshop for writers; you can use so many layers to help bring your story together. :D

Indeed! It allows for a lot of flexibility, and I feel like the extra additions make it more enjoyable to write. It's nice to be able to flick back to reference pictures, or my descriptions or notes, without having to switch the program or anything. It's quite nice. I'm considering buying it once my trial expires--after all, it'll be 50% off with 50k words!

If you have Mac, of course you won't d/l the Windows version though. It's really fun, I hope you enjoy it! The trial lasts 'til December 7th!
