pacificpikachuI don't have a room yet for Yaoi-Con, but I'm confident I'll find one before Friday. Posted on the forums! I am a tiny bit nervous only because none of my RL friends are going and usually I have at least one RL friend with me, but I have plenty of my con buddies who will be around and I'm sure I'll still have a great time! I pondered not going but if I did that, I'm sure I'd miss out on tons of awesomeness. I vow to go to Yaoi-Con every year and I don't want this to be the exception. It's just a wonderful convention. I have the time off and funds, so I don't really have a proper excuse. Plus it means I get to hang out with my amazing con buddies, who I only get to see a few times a year as it is.
I have shipping for Ebay to do, my car should really be seen by a mechanic before I go (somehow, seeing as I'm working a bunch), and I'm helping out one of the people I petsit for by taking her cat to the vet on the one day I have mostly off before Friday, so I'm just a tad overwhelmed at the moment! It'll be okay, though.
Major dilemma in my life is currently WHAT AM I WRITING FOR NANOWRIMO? I haven't the faintest clue. I'm thinking something strongly animal-related (duh), perhaps violent, and strange. That's all I've got. Time to actively seek out ideas! I pondered doing a cold start but I don't think that'll work for me. I have to have some sort of concept, otherwise I will just ramble endlessly about nothing.
