Jul. 15th, 2011 01:33 amAnd suddenly everything is busy again! In a good way, though, not so stressful. I got to feed the two calves today at work, they are so adorable! ;0; They glugged down their milk as fast as they could and then wanted more. I felt so bad when I left them, they mooed at me as I was walking out of the barn. Here's an article about them: http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2011/07/12/calves-found-starving-in-santa-cruz-geting-a-second-chance/
Tomorrow afternoon I'm leaving for a family reunion at Tahoe, and I have lots to do to get ready to leave before then. As soon as I get back on Tuesday, I'm petsitting two dogs, two cats, and two horses for a lady about fifteen minutes away.
Like half the world, I'm excited to see the last Harry Potter movie. I'm going to go see it tomorrow in Tahoe with my cousins!
Lots more to post about but it's pretty much bedtime so I ought to head off for the night. o/

Date: 2011-07-16 01:06 am (UTC)As for the farmer who had purchased these calves, the Animal Place tells us he was not charged for animal cruelty because he surrendered them.Seriously? That's some BS. >:/

I hope they make a good recovery. From the video they look just adorable! <3
