Tosca

I went and stared at the kitty and petted her and said different names, and it seems Tosca stuck. I like the other names I picked out, but Tosca just works for her herself, just right. So Tosca it is! Now just to teach her what her new name is. I'll be saying it a lot the next few weeks so she catches on!

Other than that, I'm a little overwhelmed. Packaging and shipping to do as soon as I possibly can, and a bit nervous about work now because of Friday. I'm sure things will be fine, but of course now that I've gotten some criticism, I feel like my confidence has been knocked a bit. I'm just overly sensitive sometimes, urgh. Ah, things will be fine. Just gotta chill out.

Also, need to figure out where [livejournal.com profile] mei_san and I (and Makayla?) are rooming for AX! It's coming up so fast, what happened? I guess being sick for three weeks didn't help. ^^;

Yay, you picked Tosca! :D When I looked at her pics, that name just seemed to fit better. Her fur and eyes gave that away.

AX is coming up WAY too fast! It needs to slow down a tad. ^^; I'll be working my ass off on cosplay this week with my friend.

Yes, it fits her just right! That's always my biggest thing with names--if it's a nice name but doesn't fit them, that's no good! Sometimes I'll have animals (usually chickens) who go for months without names simply because they need something that fits them personally.

I know, it's crazy! I can't even believe how close it is!

I'm happy to hear that the kitty situation is working out. At one point, Rodney told me no more animals, then he gets me Sage!! XD

You are not the only one who is overly sensitive to criticism, I cry like a baby when someone criticizes me! This is not a good thing when one is an artist...:\

Haha, yeah, my mom often says no more animals, but...hey, love is irrational, that's all there is to it! As long as we can give them happy and well-loved homes, that's what really matters.

Aw, yeah, I normally do okay with criticism, but when it's something I'm so invested in and feel good about it gets harder! Thankfully today was a great day at work.

In all honesty, 5 is my limit! No more, until someone passes away, which won't be for a very long time! My guys are well loved, that is for sure...:3

I am glad you had a great day at work. I invest a lot of myself into my art, maybe that is why I do not take criticism of it well?!

Tosca is a gorgeous name, especially for a kitty. Does she have blue eyes?

Congrats on getting your kitty! She sounds like a cutie.

I know what you mean about reacting apprehensively to work criticism, I do the same thing. People always seem to get the impression I'm too "defensive" about it on top of that, since I'm not a naturally expressive person or good at interacting, so I tend to just quietly concentrate and get out of there in an effort to not be all sadfaced in front of them.
Anyway, I hope things go okay for you and you're able to get your confidence back. <3

Thank you! I'm happy I brought her home, she seems to fit in well. :)

And yeah, it can be a bit hard to get real criticism! I don't mind if it's something I ask for criticism on, but when it's just critiquing my airheadedness I have a harder time... Probably because my parents are always criticizing me about it and it gets to me after a while. Thanks, I'm feeling better after working again today... I do really love my job, the sanctuary, and my supervisor is great! I just hope I won't disappoint anyone.
