Sep. 23rd, 2010 12:22 amFeeling pretty good lately! I haven't been up to much but my energy is higher and I just feel better in general.
I've been on a slight drawing spree recently. (Okay, it's not that much, but drawing spree by my definition is finishing a few pieces in a short amount of time.) I'm feeling more and more confident in SAI with each drawing I do. I'm loving that program, it really works nicely with me~ I want to keep doing more drawings! If anyone wants to see what I've been doing (spoilers for B/W Pokémon), here's the link to my DA: http://pacificpikachu.livejournal.com/ I may post them on
poke_arts sometime soon, but I want to let a few more accumulate first.
I took the dogs on a moonlit walk past the park tonight. It was lovely, how lit up everything is, and the air has gotten so cool. I love it! While on my walk I pondered what I want to write for NaNoWriMo, and thought up a skeleton of a plot. As usual, it's pretty bizarre, and as almost usual (2/3 NaNoNovels so far) it involves people turning into birds and some rather strange themes. I'm not sure I'll go with it--there are a lot of unanswered questions/things that would have to be worked out and connected, and I can't help but wonder what it would be like to write--but at least I have something now! Always better than no ideas at all. Maybe I'll go read the NaNoWriMo forums and see what ideas I can get. Anyway, I'll be putting some thought into that until November. Might try to get a few more ideas in as well because I want to be sure I like what I'm writing, so the more options the better.
Makayla and I are going to see OWL MOVIE in 3D IMAX in Sacramento on Saturday. Yessss! This is going to be awesome. :D
The due date on my incubator serama eggs is 9/29, so next Wednesday! Excited. :D I'll probably put them into lock down (lock down = no turning, no opening the incubator, and higher humidity to prepare to hatch) on Saturday evening after getting back from Sacramento, or on Sunday if not. Charming's chicks ought to hatch before that, though I'm not sure when exactly. Naughty girl was off her nest for a while today, so hopefully the eggs will still pull through. They probably will. I'll candle them again tomorrow to see if I can spot movement. Last I checked, the other day, all sixteen eggs in the incubator had clear movement, so that's wonderful!
Pokémon Best Wishes starts in less than three hours~! *A* I was going to sleep before it buuut I guess I'll just stay up instead and browse the NaNo forums, take a shower, go on chat, maybe doodle. I slept in this morning anyway, so whatever.
Aaand downloading an awesome-sounding movie
archaneah recommended to me. Thank you, Megaupload, for making my life easy.
Oh, and my three giant plush will most likely be here tomorrow (er, today, but I don't consider it tomorrow until after I've slept) or Friday! I'm looking forward to giving each of them a big huge hug. *0* ♥ Also, three smaller plush with them~
And off to the shower with me to do more NaNo pondering, then get dressed and candle eggs, then chat and maybe doodle and browse NaNo forums.
