I'm sick of making posts like this, but I must vent my frustration somewhere!

I slept last night from 2 AM to 2 PM. Then I got up, took care of my chickens, watched some Investigation Discovery, and then slept from about 4 PM until 10:30 PM or so. -______- I slept in such a way that you would think I hadn't slept in days, too--the sort of sleep where it's incredibly sound and you can't even think about getting up because your whole body is heavy. And I still feel like I've only slept two hours or something. Seriously, body or whatever is causing this, I do not appreciate it! At least I'm going to see a psychiatrist on Tuesday so hopefully they'll be able to help me.

:(

That happened to me last summer when I was under a lot of stress.

Sleeping problems suck. I've been having sleeping trouble as well, though in my case it's that I can't stop waking up 10+ times per night.

Have you ruled out Mono?

That sounds a lot like me when I had iron-deficiency anemia. Do you have a lot of iron in your diet (it's primarily in red meats, leafy vegetables, and fortified breakfast cereals). You may want to hit a physical doctor instead of a psych specialist because it sounds like the problem is in your body, not your brain.

I noticed sometimes the more I sleep the more tired I feel, but this is just extreme D: if you're sure it's not a thyroid problem or anything, definitely go get yourself checked soon.

That's terrible! It does kind of sound like something is wrong. Usually the same kind of thing happens to me when I'm bored and don't have anything to do, but this sounds more serious. I hope the psychiatrist can help. :/
