pacificpikachuGot my bank issue resolved, phewww. It took a lot of talking to different people and phone calls, but at least I got most of my money back. What a big relief!
Mom was going to buy me another 6' x 10' x 6' dog kennel for my chickens because it was super cheap (on Craigslist), but it sold before we could go see it. :( I'll just have to keep an eye out for another I suppose--shame I missed out on such a good deal! Oh well, the coop is a tad crowded but my birds are happy and comfortable so it's not like it's urgent. Something will come along eventually--and if not, TSC has pretty good deals on dog kennels. Their 10' x 10' x 6' dog kennels aren't that expensive. Before spring I need to figure out a way to separate out some breeding pairs as well--I want to try my hand at breeding my splash/blue/black OEGB, porcelain OEGB, and bantam sumatras. :D (As well as continue breeding seramas but that's on ongoing project.)
Eugenie is on eggs again--hope she hatches some ducklings! It'll be a while before she does if she pulls it off because it's about 28 days gestation for ducks, but the embryos look good so far. I wish my call hen Ahiru would continue laying eggs off-season, but nooo. Guess I'm going to have to wait until spring to set some of her eggs and hope I get even just one butterscotch call duckling. ;;
I'm also on the hunt for a larger and more comfortable enclosure for my quail. If all else fails I guess I could get some wood and wire and build an enclosure for them. I'd love something like 4' x 4' or so, if not even a little bigger. I've noticed that the cage industry makes cages wayyy too small--it's nearly impossible to find cages in the sizes I want, and when I do they're exorbitantly expensive. And don't even get me started on bird cages--why are they all vertical? Even flying birds prefer horizontal space, vertical cages are just useless! And yet it seems like the vast majority of bird cages are vertical. At least my lovebirds/cockatiels/parrotlets all have cages that are spacious horizontally.
The new B/W video that's out...ffffff this game looks more and more amazing the more I see of it! *A* I can't wait! Also super excited to see the new Pokémon when the rest of them come out. Not too long now! Eeee so exciting! I already have so many I love, collecting is going to be...interesting. I don't want to import the games when they come out, but I'm not sure if I can wait until they come out in spring, so I may have to go with a ROM. But then part of me just does want to wait until spring. I dunno, I guess I'll decide once it's out.
Ugh there's a hole by the serama coop and both of my ankles gave out when I stepped in it, wtf. And then one of the ankles gave out again after that. And then I had another bizarre moment where I felt like I was going to pass out. Why, body, are you doing this after minor injuries? I don't get it. >___< My ankles kind of hurt but not badly, thankfully, as we're going to Roseville later today and that'll be a lot of walking. I'm a bit scraped up, too, but no big deal.
I went on a Youtube spree last night, hahaha. I showed mom the Bed Intruder meme and she thinks it's hilarious. :'D She also liked Double Rainbow. Then I showed my brother a bunch of super amazing birds--the lammergeier, cassowary, secretary bird, himalayan monal pheasant, and lots more. Also, we watched a bunch of cute corgi videos.
Anyway, overall I've been feeling better the last two days. Not perfect or anything, but at least not utterly fatigued. My mind feels more alert. We got an appointment for a psychiatrist in Roseville in two weeks--which is at least a lot better than waiting until October.

I haven't decided yet if I'm going to wait or not, I guess I'll just have to think about it. I can read hiragana and katakana so at least that would be helpful, but I know I'll more fully enjoy the game if I wait until it's released in English.
