Layout change!

Layout has changed! It only took me, what, five years? Something like that.

I must admit I fail at graphic design (even just modifying what others have created as I did here--simplicity and color coordination are not my strengths), so please let me know if anything urgently needs to be changed for the sake of your eyeballs! I'm aware that it's bright but I'd rather it stay bright to be honest, haha. I like bright things! I like non-bright things too but I feel I represent myself better with bright things.

I did the banner drawing this evening. It's nothing special, but is hopefully cute and clear and thematic. I decided to finally give my journal the surfing Pikachu flavor it really should've had all along. I'm sure I'll tweak it plenty more in minor ways, but for now I'm happy with it overall. It's certainly no masterpiece of graphic design but it works for me. :)

I need to change my LJ layout too, to like... a real layout and not the default LJ things, but it's been so long I don't remember anything about how to do it, haha.

Tnanks! Yeah, that was my problem, too, but thankfully it's not as difficult as I thought. I found the layout I modified on mintyapple, so maybe that'll help? :)

Me too! And yeah, my username actually came from the name for the Gameshark cheat for a surfing Pikachu. XD I had this really silly obviously hacked surfing Pikachu that knew SURF, SURF, SURF, and SURF, and then a legit level 100 one that learned Surf through Stadium. :D

I'd love to change my layout (I am use a LJ provided one) but I suck when it comes to knowing how to make one. xD I looked into it once and it looks to over my head. :P

It's not that difficult, really. :) You can find codes for custom layouts at communities like mintyapple, and then you just change the URLs of the background and banner in the coding to customize it.
