(Tentative) AX plans

dollhouse__x for not only letting me room with her at AX, but also letting ensuing and Nur, who ended up without a room as well, stay with us. This is going to be so much fun! :D You won't regret having us as roommates, Jessica, I promise! \o/ It's a huge help that you offered and I can't thank you enough!
I guess the plan, assuming mom can get the one night off of work, is that mom is going to come down to LA with me on Wednesday and we're both going to get a hotel room somewhere in the general area for Wednesday night. (Mom insisted she wanted to come along for Wednesday night after the disaster that was last AX's rooming situation, as well as because she doesn't want me being the only driver on such a long trip.) Thursday at check-in time I'll move my stuff todollhouse__x's room and go back to the con. I may end up taking Amtrak back home after the con, we'll see.
toggy, you and your friend are welcome to come down in my car with mom and I if you can get a ride to somewhere near I-5 on Wednesday and we can meet. :) The only thing is then I'm taking the train back home most likely, so you've got to figure out what you want to do as far as that goes. If you want to take the train as well, it's not as bad cost-wise if you just take it one way. I'm sorry I can't take you both ways and pick you up in the bay area! I wish I could help more. ;;
AX being so far away makes it kind of a hassle to plan, but it's so worth it in the end. Ahhh, the guests this year at AX! *A*

Date: 2010-06-26 02:09 am (UTC)I'm not an early bird either...at all. Definitely not when I'm at home. XD At cons I'll get up for events, but other than that forget it! I'm usually up at...um...9-10 AM at cons unless there's nothing going on early that day, then I might sleep in a little longer.
YOU SHOULD TOTALLY ROOM WITH US AT YAOI-CON. 8D Absolutely, you're completely welcome! It's on a weekend, yep. I can't remember the dates but you can look at the site! You'll love Yaoi-Con. It's so hilarious and fun, and the people there are the best. ♥
Also, what time is check-in for the hotel and/or when will you be checking in? Just so I have an idea of a good time to gather Annaliese and Nur and call you~ (If the time conflicts with a major event, though, I may have to go put my stuff in the hotel room later. XD)

My friend says we'll be leaving at 8 and arriving at 9 at the hotel (ha... that's really early for us so idk what shes thinking but I really do want to be early this year!). It's fine if you don't check in with us, though we would have to get a meet up time together to give you guys the keys. Anyway I'm thinking meeting up at the hotel around 9:15? If we miss eachother just put the luggage in bell check or whatever at the front and we can bring out stuff up later too (:

Date: 2010-06-26 03:50 am (UTC)First day? Ummm, you mean the 30th? That's Day Zero, not much of anything happens. XD The only thing is that you can pick up your badge and it's easier than waiting in the big line, but other than that...nope, nothing.
Oh, early? That might work just fine, actually~ Shall I plan on calling you at around 9 AM and see where you are/if we're going to meet in the hotel at that time? (If it ends up a little later or something, that's all right~) I'll see what time Annaliese and Nur are planning on showing up, if they don't meet us at the same time I can just take a key for them and they can meet me for it/put their stuff in the room whenever they arrive. XD Anyway, we'll figure it out! Seeing as we all have cell phones, it shouldn't be too complicated to meet up whenever we need to. I'll drop you a PM the day before I leave just to confirm plans.
Eee, this is going to be fun. ♥ It's cool, I've met a lot of my online friends and we always end up having such a grand time together. :D I'm sure it'll be the same for us! \o/
