A twelve-year-old boy and his father just came and took three roosters (two old english game bantams and my last serama cockerel) off my hands. I'm so happy because they definitely went to a great home. :D That leaves three OEGB roosters who still need homes, which isn't bad at all! I hate parting with animals, but I must say, when you see them go off to good homes it's a nice feeling, and of course there's no way for me to keep that many roosters without utter chaos. Hell, I'm already keeping three (four if you count Prince, the serama rooster, although he's separate), that's more than most people have or want.

I think that medicine did the trick--I feel so much more awake and alert today than I've been in a while. The blood test barely hurt, too. I seem to recall it pinching pretty badly last time, but this time I hardly felt it. Also, I think the unexplained crying last night has been explained. It's that time of the month. .____.; Normally I'm not emotionally affected by my hormones that much, but apparently this time that's not the case.

I sorted dead mealworms from the live mealworms the entire time I was at the intake center today, haha. Sorting mealworms is a great thing to do in my opinion, believe it or not. I find it very relaxing and enjoyable. It was the slowest I've seen it at the intake center so far! Not a single call, not a single bird there. Linda got to go home early, which is great because she had to put two birds down this morning and was stressed because three of our rehabbers are on vacation right now, which is a significant chunk of our active rehabbers. I'm glad she was able to go relax at home with the five herons she's currently caring for. The dead mealworms I ended up bringing home for the chickens, who quite enjoyed the treat.

I'm going to get some frozen yogurt tonight, mmm.

I wasn't able to make it to the post office today, so I guess everything is going out tomorrow.

I think, once I get in the Lapras and Marill plush that I won last night as well as the new canvas plush, I'll have all of the official Lapras plush aside from the giant one. :O I'm happy and proud! Now if only I could find that giant one I'd be in heaven. *____*
