Yay, my persistence paid off and I'm officially in the Japanese class now. :D I like my schedule, and although it's not working on those five classes for my major, it is in fact making progress towards transferring to Davis so I'm happy. This Japanese class is going to be so easy for me, though--while I'm not great at using my Japanese in a speaking or translating context, I do know a ton of Japanese words, quite a bit about the Japanese language, and I've known hiragana/katakana since eighth grade, so... Yeah. Still, it's fun, and Hirano-sensei is nice and funny. :)

I might be taking in a min-pin/chihuahua as a foster dog soon. He's really cute and he needs somewhere to go, so...! We'll see what happens. If I do get him, I'll take pictures.

I don't know what I've been up to lately. Other than classes, essentially nothing. At least now I'm back in school I get to have some semblance of a social life, because I hang out with friends at lunch and whatnot. I think my personality is kind of interesting at times--it's a dichotomy in a lot of senses, especially socially. In a context with friends or people I like or people with similar interests, I'm quite loud, energetic, friendly, and sociable. In a context without similar interests, like most contexts, I am very very quiet and keep almost entirely to myself. If one were to meet me in a class setting or something, you would think I'm shy or withdrawn, which isn't really the case at all. Well, I guess it kind of is, but it kind of isn't? Er, I don't know. I feel like both sides of the coin are the "real me" so to speak.

Chicken show in Stockton on Saturday! I am crazy, for I am seriously considering going to sleep early on Friday so I can leave at 5 AM and I can be there when the sales barn opens up at 7 AM. XD SILLY, YES, but I want to see what'll be available and maybe purchase a few birds, depending! I'm setting myself a cap of five birds no matter what happens, and I'm going to stick to it. I'm most definitely excited about going, though. It sounds silly to be so excited for a chicken show of all things, but poultry are such a passion of mine and it'll be fun being around people who actually understand my feelings about them! Poultry are so cool, you guys don't even know. I'm going to meet up with people from the BackYardChickens forums, and bring along a few of my fertile serama eggs to sell/trade/give away. Also, of course the camera is coming, so I'll try to bring back pictures of the most spectacular birds.

Makayla and I are planning on actually finally starting our AMV on Friday. I'm hoping we actually get to it for once instead of getting distracted by wtf_inc, anti_sparkledog, and other such silliness.

I feel a bit bad that I haven't posted much about fandom-y things lately, because that's mostly what my f-list and journal are centered around. To be honest, I still need to get back in the habit of watching anime regularly. .___.; It's not at all out of lack of desire to watch anime, just simply lack of...initiative? I don't know, it's like I just have trouble getting started, and then once I start I don't stop. I've been mostly involving myself in pkmncollectors as usual. Made some interesting purchases recently, and I'm looking forward to receiving those packages in the mail. ♥ :D

Meh, off to play Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, get some ice water, and daydream about fancy chickens.

hahah just curious, but do you live on a large property/small farm or out in the country sorta? you seem to take in so many animals/pets xD i can only imagine you'd have a pretty large backyard or something :)

and urgh i know what you mean about not having much initiative to watch anime. I am so far behind on BLEACH now, it's not funny :/
