I AM LEAVING IN A FEW HOURS FOR THE YOKO KANNO CONCERT

AHHH I CAN'T EVEN COMPREHEND THIS *____*

Also, it's Tanabata! \o/

Yesterday evening was kind of fail. .___.; Gin and I had plans to meet up at the Ikebukuro station and go to the Pokémon Center, but I was discombobulated and went ten minutes early, and we ended up missing each other and waiting for the other at different stations. I waited for two hours before heading back to her place, ahaha. Oh well--it just taught us to have a back-up plan when meeting somewhere, and neither one of us was mad or anything so no big deal. I wasn't feeling so great on the way back (cramps + a little sick + jetlag), but once I got back we just sat around and talked and whatnot so all was fine. I slept well last night and I'm feeling pretty good today. Thankfully it's not as though I don't have time to go to the Pokémon Center another day--probably on Thursday. Tomorrow Gin and I are going to Shiki, Saturday I'm visiting GAINAX studios, and other than that I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do. I know an Akihabara trip is definitely going to happen, though I haven't decided which day.

The earlier part of yesterday, before waiting at the train station and all that, was fun, though. I mostly did my grocery shopping that'll tide me over at least part of the week, and I was amused by all the Pokémon stuff everywhere--even in the grocery store! I bought some Pokémon kleenex, Pokémon pan (bread), and Pokémon cereal. I also was excited because I found a cute little tiny corgi plush in the grocery store! ;0; I promptly bought it, of course.

Sorry for lack of photos--I've hardly taken any yet! I'll probably start doing that after tonight, as photos are not allowed at the Yoko Kanno concert and therefore I don't want to risk bringing a camera and getting in trouble. D:

Yay, today is the first blue sky I've seen since arriving in Japan!

Other than that, I've been spending quite a bit of time playing with Mabo, Gin's ferret, who is utterly sweet and adorable. ♥

I hope that you have a fantastic time at the concert! I'm super-jealous since it's my life dream, but I know it's one of yours, too, so I hope it is awesome for you.

Awww, thanks for the good wishes. I wish you could come as well, but I'm sure you have a Yoko Kanno concert somewhere in your future, too. Don't give up! I never thought this day would come, but here it is!

Nah, I've given up on dreams because can those only work out for everyone but me, no matter what my dreams are or how big/small they may be. They're just not meant for someone like me.
