Feb. 26th, 2009 10:29 pmOh man, coincidences are fun. :D
This morning at 6 AM or somethingyes, I was still awake at that hour I decided to start picking out bumper stickers for my car. Naturally, I must adorn it with many bumper stickers because I'm just weird like that. Well, I was thinking of the sorts of bumper stickers I want on it and I decided to Google "overpopulation bumper sticker" because human overpopulation is one of my main focuses when it comes to social causes. I click on the first result, and it's for free overpopulation-related bumper stickers where you just have to send in a self-addressed envelope. Scroll down to the address, and it's...about two miles away. What are the chances?
I e-mailed the guy who runs the site and he said to just go swing by and pick up some bumper stickers at his house. My brother and I went and got some bumper stickers and talked to him for a little bit, and it turns out his daughter and son are named Kristin and Ryan as well. O___o He also took Botany with the same teacher I did, hence why she had these overpopulation bumper stickers up in her room. Anyway, I got a bunch of the bumper stickers so I can give some to anyone who wants any, and I actually might take over the project of sending them out in the summer because he's been doing it for five years or so and has grown a little tired of it.
Anyway, I just thought that was odd. First result on Google! In Nevada City!

I did this in Creative Writing the other day. It was originally going to be my border collie Hana, but as I did the drawing it sort of stopped being her and turned into something that looks more like a cross between a border collie and a wolf...or something.

This is actually an old piece of mine, from at least three years ago, but I only just got to scanning it in. It's supposed to be a statement on the hypocrisy of the rift between society's views of chicks and chickens. I'm trying to decide if I want to color the chicks and make the edges of the photo look like flame, as well as maybe coloring the text. What do you think? Leave it as-is or color in the chicks and put some flames in the corners?
