Ahhh it's been snowing like crazy, and it's still snowing! I think there are eight or nine inches of fluffy powdery snow now, and if it keeps up there could be a foot or more by morning. :O I am so tempted to go wander around in it aimlessly, but...it's 2:30 AM.

I took some pictures of the snow, but considering it's dark and the flash just lights up the snowflakes falling down, the pictures aren't so great so I won't bother posting them. If it's still this pretty in the morning I'll take better pictures, though!

I am torn between being happy because it's downright gorgeous, and sad because thanks to the snow I haven't been able to make it down to the Shaymin event and will almost certainly not be able to go at all because it ends tomorrow. :( Anyone up for cloning your Toys R Us Shaymin, or trading me an extra one that you obtained somehow? I really want one, s-sob. ;___; I already have Japanese Shaymin, but I have a thing for event Pokémon so I would really like to have one if possible. My dad just happened to have a work order in Roseville, so my brother is getting me one! :3

My laptop cord died on me yesterday and my computer utterly refused to charge at all. :( Thankfully my dad is a security camera technician and knows how to work with wires, otherwise my laptop would be out of commission right now. He literally rebuilt the head of the cord (where it connects to the computer) with a soldering iron and other random tools and now it's working again. Temporarily, perhaps, but it gives us enough time to get a new part.

I have an auction for a possible grail ending in the next four hours. I won't be up that long, but I'm going to triple-set my alarm clock to be sure I get up in time to put a bid in. It's funny what lengths I will go to even though I'm not sure it's actually what I'm hoping it is. XD Even if it isn't what I'm hoping it is, it's still a nice item so that would be okay, too.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Or whatever your preferred name of the holiday is, hahaha. I'm utterly indifferent to Valentine's Day, as someone who is single and not bitter or sad about it in the slightest. It's another excuse for candy, so whatever! XD

I don't like Valentine's Day, even though I have a boyfriend. I've never really liked it.
But snow is pretty. And why should anything stop you from playing in the snow at 2 am? I've done that a few times this winter. XD

Valentines has been going pretty indifferently for me as well... Single and recently settled on not moping about it anymore, haha.

I love the snow so much! But do you think we'll still be able to have the marathon tomorrow?

We most likely will be! The roads are clear for now and the snowplow keeps going over it, so unless the snow gets really crazy and the plow doesn't come it shouldn't be a problem.

Awesome! Speaking of which, what time are we supposed to come? Makayla didn't know when I asked.

If you can be here by 11 AM that would be good! I want to finish it fairly early so we're not keeping my dad up all night.

Will you be wanting to spend the night? It's fine either way, but I figured it might be easier because it might be midnight before we finish and all.

Awesome ^_^

LOL when we get our big tv at my house then we wont have to worry about keeping anyone up at night, or their constant and inappropriately rude interjections and interruptions. Steven will be able to come to the marathon as long as he can get either a ride to work at 1 and back at 9, or a ride to the house at noon. ^_^ It will be good to watch some anime again, it's been awhile.

If Steven gets a ride to work on Monday. :P Thought I should add that in. ^_^

Okay, I just had a long discussion with my mom about the weather... Sounds like it's too unpredictable... *pout* My mom doesn't want to be on the road with everyone else in what sounds like ice and snow. She's an amazing driver, and our car is perfect for it, but she doesn't want to be out with others on NC streets in it... Makes sense.

Blast these reschedulings!!! *facedesk* But I did transfer Dennou Coil to the upstairs computer... so my family will be watching it with me tomorrow... *evil laugh*

It'll be so cool to do a marathon at your place! Hahah, why does my mind suddenly start thinking about food and dinners? I am SUCH a Cancer XD

Hmmm, is there any way we could go over there or something to watch it?

My dad is saying he doesn't really want a marathon at his house anyway. ^^; If the roads aren't too bad, and I drive Makayla?

Sorry, but it looks like we can't have marathons at my place... *sad*

The way the living room area is set up, and the amount of time a marathon takes... my parents basically say no to the whole idea. If the house were set up different it'd be great.

Aw, darn it. My dad's gotten rather tired of them because he doesn't like us invading his space. :/

I think we'll just postpone the marathon until next weekend or something. I'll ask Makayla when their TV is coming in.

We wont be getting the tv for a while. IF there is a way to get a bigger tv to my house tomorrow then we could have it over here. I have the space and all that stuff, but sadly the TV that we have is rather small for a marathon.

Alright! I'm looking forward to having somewhere the lot of us don't have to worry about family interruption.... so very very much.

Yay snow! Is this year kinda unusual with its amount of snow? Like it is in London?

As for V-day, it rained here, so I didn't do much except for gobbling down an unreasonable amount of sweets.

Hmm, no, it's not really unusual. It almost always snows in February and March here. It's just that it's been snowing more days in a row than usual, so every time the snow melts it snows more the next night and so on.

I want an unreasonable amount of sweets! ;^; I've been eating Cocoa Puffs the last couple of days, but there's no other candy or anything here. *Pouts* I guess I'll have to go get some candy at the store.
