~ Yesss, I downloaded some CDs of anime trance remixes and they make me so happy. I love anime music and I love trance, so it just makes a natural mixture for me. I know SO many of the songs, too, which makes it even more awesome.

~ Good day for Pokémon collecting, but I'll spare you all the details because I've already gone on about it on pkmncollectors, and I'm pretty sure any of you who care about it go there already. XD

~ kefanii posted some thoughts on Evangelion regarding the new movie she heard on /a/, and...wow, it makes so much sense. I even rewatched End of Evangelion today was astounded at just how much sense it makes. :O Now I'm waiting for KK or Steven or someone else who is an Eva fan to call or come over so we can talk about it. It's silly how happy and I excited I get about alternate theories and views on anime series.

~ And I suppose this is as good a time to ask as any--how many of you are doing NaNoWriMo this year? I'll probably ask again before it starts, but I'd love to add you on the NaNoWriMo site so I can compete against your word bars and hound you about them when they're not moving so we can swap ideas and encouragement. 8D I'm PacificPikachu there as well if you want to add me! ~ It's finally getting cold here! I love it! I love the smell of fireplaces and the chilly wind and sharp air and snuggling under a blanket with some hot chocolate and watching anime.

~ I'm going down to San Francisco with dad and Ryan tomorrow. :D I might try to go to a NaNoWriMo event, but I'm somehow doubting I'll be able to because it's probably later than dad wants to leave. Still, we'll see how long I can monopolize the CD player in the car with Yoko Kanno and maybe I'll try to meet up with Nicole and Aubrey.

I have this tendency to start writing A, but then it turns into B. Not sure if I should fight it or roll with it!

Haha, despite its vulgarity, /a/ is probably the best thing ever. One of my best friends here is such a br/a/h, and we have lots of epic lulz on it...like the one tiem he hijacked a "create your own adventure" Death Note thread, and everyone thought he was the OP. And I lol'd so much when they were being all tsundere for Geass. Haha, /a/, I love thee.

I'm thinking I'm probably not doing NaNo this year. I have a hard enough time keeping up with school as it is, and the way I'm living now, I'd have to shut myself up in an unused study room if I wanted to get any writing done. Plus, I'll be at a con for the first two days, so that would already set me way behind. I'll still try to keep with the spirit and write some, though, although I have no idea what...maybe that premise I posted a few days ago in my LJ. Hmm... Oh yeah, and I don't remember what my NaNo username is. XD;; Am I Hitchi on your list? If so, I can't remember my pswd.

The new movie is...well, it's supposed to be a remake of the series (or the beginning of the remake of the series, anyway--there will be three movies), but kefanii and I have figured out that it is, in fact, most likely a sequel. :O Super-exciting. The movie is great. I highly, highly recommend it.

You definitely should sometime. :D It's not my favorite anime series, but it's easy to see why it's so influential and highly respected. It's a fascinating and incredible ride.

100 degrees? D: Man, that's hot! It's that hot or a little hotter in the worst parts of summer here, but the winters are cold and occasionally snowy. It's dropped from about 80 degrees a week ago to around 30 degrees at night (and 50-ish during the day).

Oh, that is a dilemma! What you could do is leave it general and see how it goes the first few days (and then plot like mad if it's not working out for you)--or vice-versa. :D Though I've found that if I have a bunch of specific plot points planned I have a hard time keeping it loose even if I want to. :/ I'm not sure if that would be the same for you, though. I suppose we'll find out in less than a month anyway, huh? ;D

Some random torrent site, after I heard about the CD from a Yoko Kanno fansite. :D It's called Exit Trance Presents Code Speed, so a quick Google search should find the torrent for you! I'm also downloading a much larger Exit Trance torrent (~4 GB), but I'm not sure what's on it yet. I'll let you know if that's worth downloading as well. :D

I have a love-hate relationship with /a/. XD I love when they get all crazy and philosophical and I tend to agree with most of /a/'s anime taste (and they are certainly LULZ much of the time) but I've found that if I spend too much time on there I get kind of bitter and cynical. So I have to strike a good balance with hanging around on /a/ and kind of leaving it alone.

Awww, it's too bad you won't be able to pull it off this year! I think you should definitely do as much writing as you can during NaNo anyway, though. :D You are indeed Hitchi on my list, but it could be that you have to re-register because of the data wipe? It gives you the same buddies when you register as your same username and e-mail I think, though.

Aww, the network here blocks torrents here, and the proxies I've tried get the torrent to load in the client, but then it stalls. ;_;

Yeah, I know what you mean about a love-hate relationship...I'm kind of tsundere when it comes to /a/, even though was just all dere in my comment. XD I only go on it when I'm REALLY bored, when someone links me, or if I'm with someone on it. It can get to be really disgusting and depressing.
