Thanks to those who posted supportive comments in the last entry. I really appreciated what you all had to say. Much love! ♥

Today was quite a bit better. I went to Botany and was surprised to find that today was a field trip day! So we hopped on a bus and took it to the American River Canyon trail and ended up hiking for four hours towards the American River (where I have whitewater rafted many times). It was quite beautiful and, I think, made me feel a bit better about things.

I'm almost sure I'm dropping Physics and there's still some drama, but I'm sure it'll be okay once things settle down. At least, that's what I'm hoping.

Anyway, now for lots and lots of pictures!

This is the bird I rescued after the window crash once it had recovered. I haven't had time to look up what it is definitively, but it was quite beautiful.

Cute baby Western Fence lizard I caught at the river a couple weeks ago. He fell asleep in my hand because it was warm and just sat there for over and hour because I was hardly moving and being quiet, awww. ♥

Just to weird out my Y-Con roommates, while everyone else was out I turned off all the lights, took Aidan's wig head (previously Nicole's wig head, which strangely was found in the hallways of Y-con last year, bloody eye and all), and situated it on the nightstand with the four reading lights centered on it. It was like a weird shrine, haha. Then I hid behind the curtains and laughed when they came back and were like "WTF is this?"

Nicole, Aubrey, and I saw this poster shortly after we left Y-con. Uhhh our minds were tainted by days of innuendo, so we kind of took the sign to mean something different than it intended. ^^; I decided I needed a picture of Aubrey and Nicole with the sign to commemorate how twisted we are.

And a bunch of American River Canyon pictures! It's all dry out right now, but when it's spring there's wildflowers and green everywhere. *___*

Random foliage.

The river! From a distance.

This is a huuuge bridge. In fact, it's the tallest bridge in California and the third tallest bridge in the US. The pictures can't quite capture how high up and enormous it is.

Waterfall!

The river when we got closer.

This is my favorite picture out of the bunch, for some reason. It just looks so pretty and peaceful there, I guess. I don't know, I just like it.

Today's mostly going to be a huge packaging and shipping day, and I'm getting a blood test in the morning. I'll also probably go rewatch the last episode of Macross Frontier. :3

Also, whoaaaa it's October now! :O
