pacificpikachuHooray, I got my little lovebird today! He's so adorable and rainbow-y, and only a little bigger than Zephyr (my Pacific Parrotlet). ♥_♥ I wasn't expecting to get him today, but Elaine called and said she could drop him off on her way down to Roseville, so luckily it all worked out. I set up a nice big new cage for him, and he's mostly just been chilling out. It was lucky I bought a new cage about a year ago at a pet store that was closing, because it turned out to be perfect for him. He has lots of room to fly and play. He's a little skittish to catch, but he doesn't bite, and his chirping is a little loud but not nearly enough to drive me crazy.
I'm trying to decide what to name him, so he may be nameless for a while. Maybe I'll do a "suggest a name" post with pictures, if anyone wants to suggest something. :D
I'm watching Minami-ke right now. I'm not sure why I'm watching this totally random slice-of-life series before everything that has been so vehemently recommended to me (and Princess Tutu--which I'm really enjoying, but need to rewatch the first half of), but I guess that's just what I'm in the mood for? I don't know. When it finished downloading, I just jumped on it for some reason. ^^; I'm amused that it has so many Gurren Lagann seiyuu in it! (The second Fujioka opened his mouth, I went "SIIIMON!") And Chihara Minori, and Daisuke Ono and other familiar seiyuu, too. I love it when there are familiar seiyuu in series I'm watching. Anyway, it's cute so far. Nothing extremely outstanding or anything, but cute!
Seeing as the plans with Ari and KK were canceled on account of excessive homework (not on my part, mind you), Nicole and Nolan came over for a while today, and we sat on my bed doing laptop-things and watching Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. It was fun. :D
Um, back to Minami-ke, I guess?
