Moyashimon geekery
Jan. 18th, 2008 11:31 pmI just finished Moyashimon episode 8 (I'm planning on finishing it tonight, as subs are FINALLY OUT), and... Hahahaha. Random acts of lesbianism. OH MAN, I SHOULD JUST SLASH EVERYONE IN THIS SERIES. Actually, on second thought, I don't think I need to. The series is doing it for me. O_o; (I am somewhat familiar with what is going to happen in episode ten, and I'm exciiiited. I've totally been shipping that since episode one or thereabouts.) Moyashimon is such a silly series, but it's charming.
Speaking of Moyashimon, I have a program that makes it so microbes walk around on my screen. It's adorable~! I love them, and I have them on all the time, except for when I'm watching anime. It would be too distracting to have them walking around and brewing and such during viewing. Also, my cursor is officially a drill, and it turns into Boota walking when things are loading. Gah, my computer is so geeked-out. It's fantastic.
Someone needs to kick me to make me update more often or something. I'm just so lazy lately.
I love all of my classes so much. I even somewhat look forward to Calculus because the teacher is so funny. Zoology is just awesome, and Animal Science has been good so far, too. I'm not looking forward to all the Biology review because I've already learned all of that and would prefer not to have to go through the motions of learning it again, but oh well.
I never did finish Princess Tutu! I loved the first half, but I realized I have virtually no memory of what happened (as I kept getting interrupted by my dad and brother, and therefore I got a bit confused), so I'm reluctant to go on until I have that figured out. I'll probably just rewatch the first half before I move on to the second half.
I have so much to do and so much to watch. I keep adding more and more and more series I want to watch to my list, so I'm essentially burying myself in anime. I'm determined to keep up with great anime and "important" fandom anime as much as possible, though, so I understand what as many people as possible are talking about. And, well, of course I want to watch good anime. Who wouldn't? I'm going to drive myself nuts, though. At least I have Monday off, so I get a four-day weekend. Monday is my busiest day of the week, too, so next week will be a light week.
Time to get back to Moyashimon so I can finish it at a semi-decent hour. My aunt from the Bay Area is staying over tonight, and I want to be awake before she leaves so I can wish her off. :3

Date: 2008-01-19 07:02 pm (UTC)Okay, is Moyashimon the series with the little girl who lives in a refrigerator or something? Both my friends Amanda and Rana mentioned to me different cutesy, new series, so I'm getting them mixed up.

Date: 2008-01-19 07:15 pm (UTC)Then in the last episode, one of the other women in the show kisses one of the girls who were in the predicament above. And this is after the male main character's male best friend kisses him. WTF. I laughed.
Moyashimon is about a boy who can see microbes. O_o; The one with the "girl who lives in the refrigerator"...could be Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei? Maybe? There's a hikikomori girl in SZS who locks herself away in various cabinets, closets, and other weird places.
Interestingly enough, there's random acts of lesbianism in Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, too. Even in the theme song! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OM8ODecbuhA (LOL, the opening theme has virtually nothing to do with the series, for the record. It's just...disturbing and strange. XD The series itself is silly.)
