We JUST set up the tree at Mom's house. And, um, we couldn't find the ornaments for some reason, so I just gathered all the small animal plushes we have in the house and placed them strategically. This is more fitting to our household than traditional ornaments are anyway. We've even got one of those little peeping easter chick toys, a catbus, a pheasant, some plastic lizards, a couple of horse ornaments, some plush pigs (though we've never owned a pig), a bunch of little dogs and cats, a plastic rooster, etc.

Sadly all my Pokémon plush here are too big to go on the tree, but I have three Pokémon ornaments on my tree at Dad's.

Also, we put a jingly collar on Tia. She looks so cute with it on! It was originally on Hana, but Hana was afraid of it and refused to move lest the bells ring. Silly little dog.

Way to get in the Christmas spirit, me. I've been looking at post-mortem photography for a quite a while today. (Wiki it if you've never heard of it--it's decidedly rather interesting!) I have no idea why I'm so weird and morbid. XD And instead of listening to Christmas music while decorating the tree (because who isn't sick of Christmas music by now?), we listened to one of the Turn A Gundam OSTs.

Well, tomorrow is essentially the beginning of Christmas for me, as we celebrate with my mom's side of the family in Davis on Christmas Eve. Hopefully that will go well. It usually does. :) Then on Christmas day, we go to the Bay area for dad's side of the family. Long drives FTW! Let's see if I can command the stereo for the whole drive there. >D
