I'm feeling genuinely weird today. Sort of that confused, undecided kind of weird that isn't unpleasant or pleasant because you can't decide how you feel and how you're supposed to react and exactly what your opinion is on anything.
We (as in, Mom, Ryan, and I, in case you were wondering, KK :P) went to Kmart last night. I have no idea why I'm writing about this. I just feel like writing and writing for no real reason, so just work with me here. This was a funny experience. Big paragraph time. I hate big paragraphs.
I found a movie called The Killer Shrews in the bargain Halloween movie section, so I bought it for Kathryn, just because I couldn't resist how funny it looked and Kathryn is always up for a nice, cheesy, old horror film. The singing deer head died. ;_; I found a big light-up Christmas frog. There was a large group of people surrounding a baby in front of the shoe section (which Mom wanted me to check out), so I had to wait for them to move so I could go into the shoe section. Babies are creepy. *Shudder* Ryan and I burrowed in the sweaters. We talked to a lady whose babies Mom delivered for about a half hour. She was obsessed with her church. She seemed nice enough, so I didn't get weird about it. Plus, her youngest child was about four, so that was also fine. I made an Akamaru dog tag on the dog tag maker, but I didn't print it out.
When I got home, I checked my e-mail for the first time in a while. Cody sent me this completely awesome short story he wrote, which...wow, I'm still thinking about it. It's really cool. I beta-ed it for him, and had a great time doing it. That was pretty much all I did before bed.
Today... Um, I don't know how I felt about it. @_@ I suppose it was fine.
First period, I put up Anime Club posters that Zoe printed out. Mr. Baxter sent me to the Principal's office to make a bunch of copies for him on the copy machine. The lady in the office was cool because she was really into karma. XD I made the copies. It was thrilling. Went back to class, where I disturbed Jasmine more. She's insane herself, and she says I'm the most insane person she's ever met. It's fun. XD I talked about putting chicken's heads in my mouth, and giant spiders, and jousting on tractors with breadsticks, among many, many other things.
Econ was rather dull. I read an Anbu. Mr. Bothun talked the whole period, though it was more interesting than usual because he kept getting off on these weird tangents about things.
During PE... I really felt strange, because I was kind of cold for the first time in a long time. The wind was blowing, and it was this really sharp, poignant cold that even I felt. It was strange. The game went by in a dreamy way (especially because I didn't have to do anything at all), and I watched the gray, low clouds most of the time. They were moving fast if I looked carefully, even though if I just looked at them in a general sense it didn't appear they were moving at all. I could feel the rain in the air.
Lunch...um...weird. I talked to people, and Zoe was being weird about my constant affection towards Cody. It was hard to tell if she was playing around with me or not. I dunno. I really don't want to talk about it right now. -_-; Borrowed Advent Children from a girl for Anime Club. Looked at her fanart, which was good but almost all copied. Could identify every Wolf's Rain screenshot perfectly. It scared pople. I'm glad other people draw wolves obsessively. It's good to know I'm not the only one.
We had an awesome potluck in Art. Ate lots of things, like pasta salad and this weird apple thing that was good and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and other things I can't remember. 'Twas yummy. Gave Kathryn the movie, which she liked. Makayla was gone again. Accomplished little. We discussed paper bags in Art, except it was a completely serious discussion. Our next project is cool.
English was weird because I was shaking the whole time. I really don't know why--it wasn't cold shaking, or sick shaking, and it was maybe a little tiny bit of nervousness because I was thinking over a lot of things, but that wouldn't induce shaking like that. I wasn't uncomfortable, though, just shaky. We discussed Out of the Silent Planet--mostly the things pertaining to Oyarsa and the Eldila, and how they relate to religion and such. I want to show off the Hross I drew on my group's paper, so I'm looking forward to presenting it, whenever we do.
Anatomy was interesting, although KK wasn't there and that made it slightly more relaxed than usual. I read the newspaper most of the time. Everyone in the class took a test. I...uh...read the newspaper. I'd like to say I did more than that, but I don't think I did.
Anime Club went pretty well today. We just watched Advent Children, which by now I'm sort of sick of because I've watched the first twenty minutes of it three times today. -_- The club liked it, though, and they were more obedient and quieter than usual.
Mom gave Nicole a ride home after Anime Club, and then took me home, where I sat around and did nothing for a long time. Took an epic shower that was at least an hour long. Talked to KK on the phone. Played with the guinea pigs. Fed Princess about six times because Lily kept sneaking in and eating her food. When Mom got home, I decided to show her Advent Children just so she could see the animation. She ended up liking it and watched the first half-hour. Started watching it with Ryan, but I was sick of it, so I turned it off.
I'm sort of at a stage right now where I'm trying to piece a lot of things together, and it seems to me like the pieces of the puzzle are falling into place to a certain extent, but it's kind of hard to tell what extent they're at. I can't decide how everything is at the moment. I think it's all going pretty well, but it feels like it could flip-flop around a bit. I can't wait to get some of feelings out into the open (well, not the open...but more open than they have been), because I'm hoping it'll resolve some things. Hmmm.
In other news, I got my assignment for
naruto_wishlist! I'm so excited. :D I wish the person had been a *little* more specific, but we seem perfectly compatible as far as pairings (and even anime series we like) go, and it'll be a great assignment for me. I think I'm going to spoil the person and do her a fanfic *and* a fanart. If I can manage that. I'm sure I can, though. I'm excited to start the project. I'm brewing over fanfic ideas at the moment.
Well, it's past my bedtime, so I'd better be off. ^_^ Today was just fine, but I hope tomorrow is at least a little less ambiguous. :)
