Nov. 7th, 2007 09:40 pmTime to dawdle about awkwardly for 2000 words or so. I'd love to reach 15K tonight, but realistically I'm pretty very sure that's not going to happen. I have no idea what my characters have planned for the day ahead of them. They just woke up, and they're going to do something interesting, but it just so happens I have no idea what this interesting thing might be.
Well, I hope something pops up. As fun as their conversations are and as much as they seem to talk to each other (which is weird--I'm not accustomed to writing dialogue like this! But they're talkative), I think they need something else to do.
Edit: Darn it, Magpie! I thought we were going to DO something in this 2000 word span. So far all you've done is talk to Crow and ramble about yourself for several paragraphs. Please move on so something interesting can happen.
Oh, who am I kidding? This is literary fiction. It's practically required that the characters spend half the novel philosophizing about themselves/humanity/each other.
