Anyway... Guess what I'm going to buy for my birthday?
(No, it's not something NORMAL like a car or anything expensive. Guess again.)
YES. THAT'S RIGHT.
I AM GOING TO BUY MORE CHICKENS FOR MY BIRTHDAY. LIKE. SIX OF THEM.
In fact, I almost bought four really small baby chicks today (two golden sebrights and two mille fleurs--Google 'em if you're curious, as they're rather beautiful), but they were straight run (read: not sexed) and I didn't want to go through weeks of raising them, training them, naming them, and becoming attached to them only to find out they were roosters. Yamikarasu will kill any other roosters if we put them in with him and I hate having to give chickens away--especially when I raise them from little itty-bitty chicks. I felt bad putting them back after having them put in a box for me and everything, but...well, roosters just won't do, because no matter how much I love roosters, Yami doesn't. Even though he is one.
Biology was...um. Long. Not bad, just long and a bit tedious.
I don't know how I'm going to balance helping Mom out and doing all my Chemistry homework tomorrow, but I guess I'll deal with that later.
Tia did the weirdest thing ever about an hour ago. I put her in my room with a pig's ear to eat. However, she was not interested in eating it. Instead, she found a white piece of paper that was on my floor, and used her nose to push the piece of paper under the pig's ear so the pig's ear is perfectly centered in the middle of the paper. No really, WTF, Tia? What was the point of that? Is it an art piece? An attempt to preserve it...?
I have no idea. It's still sitting there like that while she dreams next to it(legs twitching, nose flaring, etc.).
CC is in a little ball next to me, looking rather squirrel-like for a cat, and Hana has been nearly insane all day.
There's other stuff to say, but none of it is worth saying. So, I suppose that's all for now.

Date: 2007-03-10 08:09 pm (UTC)rather hard to ignore. ♥
Hahaha, yeah. There was a time when almost all of my chickens were named after Pokémon, but most of those chickens have died by now (of old age). However, my rooster is a Black Japanese, which can live past twenty (along with most of the smaller breeds, really). Larger breeds usually only live 5-7 years.

Date: 2007-03-11 03:20 am (UTC)Yamikarasu (AKA Yami or Deesa Yami Baird)
Ho-oh (AKA Biida Ho-oh)
Timber (AKA Teeember)
The Salula
The Other One
The Other Other One (Her name used to be Erken, and before that, Limpit, but I changed it so many times that The Other Other One stuck. Plus, she looks a lot like The Other One on account of them being sisters.)
Ilikeayou (AKA Iloikayuuuu)
Silver (AKA Seeever)
Sterling
Brindle (AKA Broindle)
Fawkes
Tsunami
...I think that's all. I don't know, I might be missing one. I'm down to so few chickens. About five or six years ago, I had well over a hundred because they were breeding like crazy. XD;; We found homes for a lot of them, and some were killed by wild animals. :(
Who was saying Salula and why? O_o; That's so weird because Salula is a made-up word. XD;
