We got an eight-week-old puppy today! She's SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO CUTE and she's looking at me quizzically because she can hear me typing.
EEEEEEEE!
Yeah, we weren't planning on actually bringing a puppy home today (we were going to buy one and leave her at the breeder's house until my semester ended), but she's SO CUTE we couldn't help it. She's being such a good girl so far, too.
She's mostly just been sleeping in a carrier since we brought her home, but she comes out every half hour or so to play for a little while.
We drove an hour and a half wayyyy out into the boonies to get her, but it was worth it. Her parents are both really nice dogs, and, oddly, she was from a litter of ten, too. (Lily was also from a litter of ten, and litters of ten are unusual.) We had a hard time picking which puppy we wanted, but I know we made the right choice. ^^ She has the most beautiful gray eyes, four white feet, the usual border collie blaze and collar of white, and one little black spot on her face by her muzzle.
She's nameless at the moment, though right now the name we're considering is Hana. I don't know, though--I'm going to go internet hunting for more names to consider.
Pictures will follow once I get Dad's digital camera over here to snap some pictures of her. ♥
I have to go take her out now.
