Strange dreams about Lily...

pacificpikachuI was dreaming about dreaming about Lily. It was both nightmarish and strange--but parts of it were somehow comforting at the same time.
The beginning of the dream was bizarre, and I don't remember that much of it. I know that I was in some sort of open area with fences and such, as if I was out in the country somewhere random. Lily was being chased by some kind of large animal--I don't remember what it was--and I was chasing both of them. The animal eventually caught up to her and captured her, but I wasn't too perturbed by this because I knew she was already dead. As the animal caught her and killed her, another Lily leapt out of the corpse and began running and running and running as fast as she could. The corpse was still there, but the other Lily just kept running. I chased her, thinking I could have the second Lily back, but she was running too fast and leapt over a fence, then twinkled off into the distance.
The next scenes involved me sleeping and dreaming. I was lying in bed, again knowing that she was gone, but as I opened my eyes, she was lying next to me in bed. She was sleeping there so peacefully, and I couldn't believe it or understand why she was there. I hugged her and kept closing and opening my eyes to make sure she wouldn't disappear. Each time, she remained there like always--but then I woke up in the dream, and realized I was hugging Tia (my black lab mix, for those who don't know her). Lily was nowhere to be seen.
However, the next day I was wandering around the house, I kept seeing her on and off. One moment she would be there, the next she wouldn't. Her apparition or whatever it was was completely solid and seemed real. At one point there were two apparitions of her in the kitchen, both doing different things, and I panicked and told my mom that I kept seeing her, all the time, but I knew she was gone and I couldn't understand how she could be there and gone at the same time.
This is when the dream got really bizarre again. Nicole came over with tarot cards and tea cups and other random things and determined she was going to do some sort of spiritual reading or something. She invited Ari over, too, and Nicole and Ari were preparing to do some sort of weird ritual--but I was pretty traumatized by being able to see Lily in my house after she was dead and I wasn't convinced it would do anything. Plus, they kept making it sound like they were going to charge me for whatever they were trying to do. I kept trying to explain to them what was going on so they could perform their ritual (it involved small blue tea cups), but every time I tried Lily would appear again and I'd freak out.
This part of the dream was completey random and had nothing to do with the rest of the dream, but I looked out the window and people were racing this small, compact cars on the sidewalk outside of my house (I don't *have* a sidewalk outside of my house, for the record), and also a beautiful bay morgan gelding ran out of nowhere and ran across the street despite all the cars (not the small ones--the actual street cars), causing me to panic and wonder what we were supposed to do about the horse.
I don't remember much more about it, but other than the random parts at the end, it was a strange, almost meaningful dream. I'm not totally sure what to make of it, except that perhaps it was trying to tell me that Lily lives on in a different form (the first part of the dream), and that she is around our house still in some way or another (the third part of the dream). And maybe it was saying that a little of her soul went to Tia, or we're supposed to comfort Tia, or something (the second part of the dream). I don't know... It was weird.
