pacificpikachu...But only because I'm at Cody's right now. He's busy tutoring his sister in Calculus, so I figured I'd take this time to catch up on a few things. ^^;
There's not a great deal to say at the moment...
Yesterday was pretty much uneventful. Mom and I went to the stables because Rivi hurt himself again (just a little scrape this time--which is good, because he's already injured that same leg twice in a row pretty badly), and Mom decided to bring him home. His trainer said he's too afraid right now to ride, and that's why he bucks every time anyone puts a saddle on him. He's going to a top trainer in about a month, and we'll just have to go from there.
Speaking of horses, Mom's friend Alexia is keeping her horse at our house now. :D He's SO pretty--a palomino Tennessee Walker named Sunny. He's really sweet and laid-back, too. I like him.
Also, I watched the Naruto dub yesterday. Because KK and I forgot to watch dubbed episode 3 last weekend, I caught up on that yesterday, and also watched episode four. Basic reactions:
- "Thousand Years of Death"? Why couldn't they have just used Thousand Years of Pain?
- Naruto's voice is really annoying in the dub. x.x The "Believe it!" is also getting on my nerves... I miss "Dattebayo"... He sounds like such a brat in the dub...and not in the cute way, either.
- Sakura's voice...totally doesn't fit her. There's the occasional fleeting word where I approve of her voice, but it's rather rare. I can't seem to connect that voice with Sakura. She sounds especially unconvincing when Inner!Sakura pops up. x.x
- Sasuke...is actually somewhat okay. There were actually several parts where I was thinking "Hmmm...he sounds a little bit like his Japanese self..." He talks a little too slowly, though, and there are definitely parts where I don't like his acting. For the most part, he's okay, though. Oh, and what was up with the whole "destroying" Itachi thing? Why is it they used "kill" just fine in the first episode, but not this time?
- Kakashi's voice needs to be lower and more...I don't know what the word is. I'm tempted to just say "Kakashi". It needs to be more Kakashi. It's just...meh...
- Shikamaru doesn't sound like himself.
- Ino is eh...
- Chouji sounds awful. ><
- Hinata doesn't sound right.
- Everyone else... Eggghhh.
My Japanese homework I was working on last night was uber-amusing. XD I loved the section on animals... I totally breezed through that, and the homework on it was so funny. They kept asking questions like "Where is the hippo?" and such. Teh beautiful.
So, yeah. That's about it. The weather around here is really starting to look and feel like fall! It's so exciting. ♥ I love fall.
Hmmm. I'm going to go now. We're going to Rosie's birthday party in a little while, so we'll probably be there for the most of the day.
