I woke up this morning and discovered I have poison oak on both of my legs. Joy! At least I'm lucky and get it really, really mildly, so it doesn't really affect me at all. There's an almost invisible rash and it itches slightly every now and then, but otherwise I don't notice it at all.

Chemistry went fine. We even got to eat chocolate while we were doing work. X3 I took notes furiously, and then we had a balancing equations test (I have *no* idea how I did on that), and we swapped papers for peer review. Levi and I left early because I asked her for a ride home (Mom was down in Loomis getting Rivi checked for lameness), but she was sick, so we stopped at RiteAid so she could get some medicine.

I watched ghost shows for much of the day after I got home (at around 1 PM), and just messed around on the internet and took a shower and such.

When we started expecting trick-or-treaters, I hastily created decorations to put outside out of garbage bags and white paint, in addition to a heat lamp I have for birds. Unfortunately, all of our neighbors are sticks in the mud and had all their lights off, so the street was really dark and despite the fact that there were tons and tons of trick-or-treaters in the area, our part of the street was dark and we only got one set of trick-or-treaters.

I was in my Akamaru costume and wanted attention and to give candy to the children, so I ended up bringing the candy down the street in a bucket, handing it out to any kids I saw on the way. I think I would have been a pretty suspicious character (white dog suit and all) if it weren't for the fact that my voice is that of a teenage girl. XD;; It was fun, and the kids loved the costume. XD I got rid of the candy really fast and headed home.

At home, I watched AMVs on the TV with Mom and her friend Alexia for quite a while (Alexia really, really liked Hall Om Mig, which is of course, absolutely amazing), and later Ryan and Jake, and now here I am.

I have smears of white paint on my arms, I'm downloading a ton of Honey & Clover-related music, and trying to convince myself to do some homework.

I'm really not looking forward to taking the bus tomorrow. :( Mom's working dayshift, so I have to. *Gag*

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear about the poison oak! I've never had it, but my roommate once got it (or poison ivy, I forget) on his man bits. Apparently it burned quite badly. I guess he had touched it directly with his hands and uh, spread it. Then again, my roommate's an idiot. :D

I'm glad you had a good halloween! Might you be posting pictures of your costume?

Ah, the poison oak is no big deal for me. I'm lucky--my Dad and brother tend to get it so badly they become ill for days. Ouch, getting it on sensitive parts is...not going to feel good. That's so unpleasant. *Shudders at the mere thought*

Oh, here's a picture! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/pacificpikachu/DCFC0728.jpg

I'm the dog. XD;; Akamaru, from the anime series Naruto. I'm not a furry (though I've been accused of it), but dressing up in fluffy costumes at anime conventions is too fun to resist. Plus, they're fun to make.

Did you make a costume, by any chance? If so, I'd love to see pictures!

Sorry for the late reply! That is so cute! Where do you even get such a costume? You look fabulous!

My halloween costume pictures weren't all that good, but I went as a stereotypical Native American. I'm Indian--as in India, and my best friend is Native so we "switched Indians" and she wore a sari. :D

Here are some pictures even though they're not all that great.

Aw, thanks! I mostly made the costume myself (though a seamstress did the sewing). I'm glad you like it!

That Halloween party looks like so much fun~! Switching Indians is quite clever, and the pictures of you two together are adorable. Herbert the owl/airhead is lovely.

That is fantastic! I am really impressed with your costume! I wish I were good at that sort of thing.

And thanks! We mostly watched scary movies and got fat on candy but it was a fun time.
