Good day. :D
Oct. 19th, 2006 05:28 amLet's see... I got to school rather early, so I spent the time before class playing the SOS-dan doujin game on my laptop for a while. I got up to level 6 or 7, but didn't beat whatever that level was, and then headed off to Psychology for an exam. The exam was easy and only took me twenty minutes, so when I finished I went back to the cafeteria, where Shannon showed up pretty quickly. I had two hours before Statistics started, so Shannon and I talked and watched AMVs and Death Note episode 1 quietly for a while. When Tyler showed up, we started going through pictures. I only had about ten minutes to talk to Bee and Rachel before heading off to Statistics.
In Statistics, we were basically handed a review sheet for the test on Monday, and then the teacher left. Most of the class left when she did, but Lanna and I decided to hang out for a while doing the review. We got a little sidetracked because in between problems we spent a fair amount of time talking and eating M & Ms Lanna brought, but we ended up getting it all done and figuring out everything we needed to know. It was a very pleasant little study session. :D
English was okay. Hotchkiss got on another entire-class tangent, but at least it was interesting/relevant to our next essay. XD;;
After class, I went to the hardware store with Mom, where we basically spent a long time trying to figure out how we can make the chicken coop more awesome than it is. At home, I helped Ryan with his homework for an hour and a half, and...um, that's pretty much it.
I'm considering not going to YaoiCon. Partly because of the ID issue, but also partly because $35 seems like a lot to only be there about five hours, I have very little or no spending money, and I feel guilty that I'd have to lie to my parents about *cough* exactly what type of convention it is. Japan Town is having the Cherry Blossom Festival this weekend (or so I've heard) so I could always go to that and enjoy Kinokuniya and hang out all day instead. :D
I don't know, I'll have to think about it. YaoiCon would be much, much more fun with a bunch of friends and getting to stay the whole time and such. And I never get tired of Japan Town, and it doesn't have a fee to enter.
Hmmm. I must ponder.

Date: 2006-10-20 05:32 am (UTC)At this point, I've pretty much decided I'm not going this year anyway. $35 is a lot to spend on registration if I'm only going to spend four or five hours there.
