Went to the fair

pacificpikachuToday, I went to the fair. I tried smoothies, got free stuff, talked to a park ranger about rehabbing birds, found a painting of my dog at the AnimalSave booth (there's a possibility we could win it) and talked to the fellow AnimalSave people about her, bought an out-of-print Peter S. Beagle book (actually 4-in-1 book), ate lots of fair food, spotted friends, looked at the horses, chickens, and rabbits, considered getting some free chickies from the chicken-raising thing with 4H, hid from Mom's friend's baby, looked at art exhibits, went to a dog agility exhibition (and reminded myself that I want to buy a corgi and train it to do agility), and randomly lingered at the anime booth.
It's late and I'm too tired to write much more. So meh. It was a good day, though. It's quite a relief to be able to leave all the birds home without worrying.
