Today was...odd. Not bad, just...weird. x.o

For one, I had to get up earlier than usual because of the AP test, so we arrived at school at about 7:15 AM and the bird and I had to wait outside the Wrestling Gym for the AP test people to show up. I was a little nervous for the AP test--mostly because I tend to overreact about timed essays, but it actually ended up being pretty easy. I finished the three essays with about a half-hour to spare. The only thing was, I was so so SO close to getting kicked out of the exam and getting a zero. This is because initially I had the bird on my desk, and for no apparent reason about twenty minutes into the test, he randomly started shrieking. XD;; I have NEVER heard him make that noise. So, the lady in charge of the test stormed towards me for distracting everyone (and he was still screeching at this point because he wanted food and I was shoving kibble down his throat) but I managed to calmly talk my way into her letting me lock him a room branching off the Wrestling Gym. So, all I had to do was occasionally go feed him between tests. It was a long, tedious, and slightly nerve-wracking test (merely because of the inclusion of the bird into the formula), but overall it really wasn't that bad.

By the time I finished, it was fifth period, so I ran off to join my friends in Art. We've started critiquing Freshman art from Mrs. Perez's class (most of which is...well, not high quality, let's just put it that way). I didn't really have time to start my critiquing, so I watched Kathryn, Zoe, and Makayla writing random weird things on Tony with markers. XD;

Sixth period, two people did their Senior Project presentations. This effectively inspired me, because it was just so...simple! Not scary at all! I was so inspired I vowed to work my hardest on my AMV when I got home.

During seventh period, I met this nice lady (a student teacher, from what I gathered) who was interested in my bird rehab and now wants to do a TV story on me. So, we chatted about that for a while and when she had to go, I read Time magazine. I was deeply amused by their article on Snakes on a Plane.

Mom picked me up after that. We went by Fabric Boutique to drop off my Akamaru mask, but Gaylene (my seamstress) wasn't there, so I entrusted it with Terra.

The rest of today, I've spent on my AMV. And--this is miraculous--I actually got stuff done! :O One minute and thirty-eight whole seconds, to be exact. *Puffs up proudly* I actually think it's sort of decent, too. I mean, not award-winning or anything, but not crap either. I'm doing my best to do lyric-synch and change the scene with every musical change. I still haven't quite figured out how to do effects (I want to black-and-white-ify some scenes that represent the past, and play with non-distracting transitions and stuff), but--still! I know, you're probably laughing at me for being proud of ninety-eight seconds, but you don't understand how many clips I've used. x.x Plus, that means I'm almost halfway through the AMV, seeing as the song is about four minutes and nineteen seconds, I think? Anyway, I'm really proud.

I have an Audobon meeting to attend--see you!

Which AP tests did you take?

Close call with the bird. O_o; Glad they didn't kick you out!

Just English literature. :D I'm so glad I didn't take any more than that... >.>
