The universe gave me a little pat on the back

Yes, I am still upset, and I will continue to be so for quite a while now (or at least until things are resolved...which could be months or potentially even longer), but today...was definitely a decent day, and I wasn't as bothered as usual by what's been going on.

To start off, I woke up, rolled over, and looked at the clock at precisely 5:28 AM. I think it was at that point I decided to try and not let my feelings get the best of me, for at least a little while. After all, how can one wake up at exactly 5:28 and then have a bad day? That's just about impossible! So I took it as a sign, and tried to keep myself cheerful.

I got my stuff together, warmed up the car, etc., and was rather concerned I would be "late", but I ended up walking into school directly at the right time to give Cody a big hug. The timing was perfect. XD;; Another tiny reason why I decided the universe was trying to cheer me up a little.

First period, I watched AMVs the whole time (other than delivering one piece of paper to the attendance office--but that only took about five minutes because I speed-walked). I've been rather addicted to AMVs all day...I'd guess that, all in all, I've watched about five hours worth of them today. @_@ Yes, that's silly, but it was also kind of nice. XD;

Second period, Mr. LaMarca asked me to make some copies for him on the copy machine. That was...um...baffling and fun. XD;; I kept messing with the settings and accidentally making the copier make these bizarre copies. I eventually got it down to at least a minorly okay point, though. Sara and I worked on our death penalty presentation for the rest of the period, which was...uneventful. Not much to say about that.

Third period, hahaha! I got another note from Mom that said I didn't have to participate (I wasn't feeling at that well again in the morning), so I sat in the bright sun and doodled all period.

Lunch...Zoe wasn't at school, so I mostly talked to Shannon about anime (what else?). I've decided I should probably see Scrapped Princess, simply because I've heard it's good and it's by BONES (and really, I don't need any other reason if something is made by BONES). So maybe I'll do that sometime. Chris and I talked a little about Fullmetal Alchemist...but not much. Oh, and KK was afraid I was pissed at her, but I assured her I'm not and she seemed quite happy to have been forgiven (though I wasn't mad at her in the first place). She and I still need to talk, though, big time. ._.;;

Fifth period, Kathryn, Tony, and I were hanging out together (seeing as Zoe and Makayla were absent). Tony remained addicted to Absolute Boyfriend, and read it throughout the whole period (giggling occasionally, I must note). XD;; Definitely quite amusing. Kathryn and I went through tons of magazines, occasionally laughing over silly pictures we found, and leaving lots of grafitti on the fashion magazines in particular. I got no work done, and frankly, didn't care.

Sixth period, we had a sub for part of the period and did group analysis on a random poem. Not much to say about that...

Anatomy had the whacking-people-mercilessly (AKA testing reflexes) lab, so Selah and I had lots of fun hitting each other and laughing at our reactions. My emotions tried to go a little haywire on me during seventh, but I stifled that eventually and forced the thoughts out of my mind. I just...didn't want to think about it today.

Anime Club went fairly well. Another one of my little good luck things--at the beginning of the club, I found a ladybug in my hair. Ladybugs are supposed to be good luck, right? I showed Naruto episode 101, which had a great reception, and then just showed AMVs for the rest of the meeting. I'm annoyed at the n00b-ish behavior of the Anime Club (I must have the most loser anime club in the state...seriously), but I didn't let it get to me. Afterwards, Emmy and I ranted about how annoyed we are at discrimination in general until Mom picked me up.

From there, we basically went home, I watched some random scenes from FFVII: Advent Children for no reason (until I concluded yet again that it sort of bores me at this point), and then watched AMV Hell 3. Twice, to be exact. Yeah, that's why I'd approximate I spent five hours on AMVs today--two hours of AMV Hell 3 (x2), one hour during first period, one hour during Anime Club, and one hour of other AMVs at home today. That's worrisome. XD;; Oh well, it made me feel a little better from laughing. Ryan and Jake got all into watching AMV Hell 3, too (they ended up watching it one and a half times through), and Mom even watched a couple parts.

Took a shower, played Solitaire, etc. Not interesting. Talked to both Cody and KK on the phone for about a half hour or so, but just on light, cheerful terms. ^^

I...have a feeling this is going to be a bit of a hard weekend for me, seeing as Concert Choir is leaving tomorrow at 6 AM for Disneyland. And they're not getting back 'til Sunday. ;_; So, in other words, I'm not going to be able to be with the people I most need to be with, not going to be able to talk to them about things, and they're going to be together, and...ughhh. I keep getting these bad feelings about this, even though they might be a tad unreasonable. I sincerely hope all my friends who go on the trip have lots of fun, though. ^_^ I'm just hoping my imagination doesn't run away with me while they're gone, causing me to jump to weird conclusions.
