YOU:
What name do you go by?: Kristin.
What name do you wish you had?: Er...I'm fine with my own name, thanks. Though I admit, it would be really funny if my name was Pikachu.
What was a name you were almost given?: I guess my parents almost named me Christine. I'm really glad they didn't. I'm definitely not a Christine sort of person.
How would you describe your personality?: That's a hard one. I'm artistic, laid-back, kind of random, I seem extroverted but I'm actually introverted, organized, very obsessive, enthusiastic, loud and quiet... I'm a bit of a dichotomy, truth be told. My personality doesn't make all that much sense.
What have you done that you are most proud of?: I haven't the faintest. I guess simply that I have allowed myself to change as I've needed to--even though it's been the hardest thing I've ever had to face.
What are your goals in life?: To write at least one novel I can be proud of, to live life in a way that I feel happy and fulfilled, and...I suppose to stick with a certain person, if there's any way I possibly can.
Do you think your dreams are realistic?: Fairly, I hope.
LOVE:
Do you think love is special or just chemical reactions?: I think it's special if it is true and involves a real connection, though the way many people go about it makes me wonder. I think the majority of what people call "love" in this world is not in fact as real as they want to believe it is.
Do you want to fall in love?: Unfortunately (?) I already have.
Has anyone (other than family) ever called you beautiful?: I've been called cute, yes--frequently (though it's much more of a personality thing than a physical thing, I suspect). Beautiful...I'm not sure. I honestly can't say I care, so I wouldn't remember even if someone had.
Did they mean it?: I assume so. O_o; I don't know why they'd say so if they didn't mean it.
Do you think they’re right?: I suppose.
Do you think you understand love?: I hope I do, after all the thinking and hardships I've gone through emotionally as a result of it. I'm pretty sure I have a good understanding of it, by now.
WAR/VIOLENCE:
Do you think there is such a thing as a ‘just war’? No.
If so, what would that be?
If not, why? War means people are dying for some conceptual or greedy reason, which to me is an injustice no matter how we look at it.
Do you enjoy violent media?: Admittedly, yes--I watch a lot of terribly violent anime. However, I do not enjoy it simply because it is violent--I enjoy it because of what it has to say about that violence.
Do you think violent media contributes towards real violence?: I think for some people, who likely have some problems, it does. In general, no. I have watched hours upon hours upon hours of violent anime, and I don't feel any violent urges I would ever act upon.
Do you think violence can solve any problems?: No. Well...overpopulation, but that's another story...
Would you use violence for any reason? If so, what would you use it for?: I wouldn't. I don't think I could bring myself to be violent, whether I wanted to or not.
Does the end justify the means?: No.
OTHER:
What color is your underwear?: Er...blue. Why?
Why do you think I’m asking that?: I have no idea. The only reason I answered it was because I figured it didn't matter whether you knew or not.
What do you think of illegal drugs?: I never have and never will take illegal drugs of any kind. I get addicted to things too easily.
What do you think of cigarettes/smoking?: Never have, never will.
If you could live anytime in the past, what would it be?: No idea. Admittedly, Meiji Japan would be kind of interesting, though. I don't think I'd actually like to live then, though. Too risky.
If you could live in any fictional world/universe, what would it be?: The Pokémon world, hell yeah! That would be so many levels of fun I can't even being to imagine it.
What would you do?: Train Pokémon and travel around with my friends. Duh.
Do you dress to be comfortable, look good, look professional, etc.?: I dress however I feel like dressing. Which just so happens to be shorts and a t-shirt all the time. XD;; Yes, I look rather bum-ish, but I honestly don't care.
Do you talk/write regularly in l33t or some other crude jargon?: I occasionally yell out things like "pwned!", but not a lot. When I do, it's just for amusement's sake. But I am addicted to emoticons. XD;
Do you know WAY too much about something that isn’t real? What is it?: See: Virtually every anime I'm in to.
What title do you want?: Um...I don't need a title, do I?
What are your pets like, if you have any?: All of them? They're wonderful. I have two dogs (a Border Collie and a black lab mix), two cats (a calico shorthair and a medium-haired black and white), two cockatiels (lutinos), a parrotlet, three guinea pigs (one beige, one brown, one white), a Thoroughbred horse, a bumch of chickens, and a bunch of fish.
What pets would you like?: I want a welsh corgi. ;_; And...Mew, don't get me started. I want just about everything that moves as a pet. XD;;
SYMBOLOGY:
Do you believe in astrology?: I'm not sure if I believe in it--I do read it quite a bit, and find it quite a fun hobby to study about it. I can't say I really take it seriously, though, even though my personality is definitely, definitely accurate to my zodaic signs.
Do you think symbols are important?: Yes, I'd say so. It depends, though.
Do you prefer smooth, soft symbols or hard, angular ones?: Smooth.
Do you like things to be homogenous?: Not necessarily--it depends on the thing, though.
Do any animals have special meaning to you?: Oh, lots of them do. Wolves, foxes, and dogs in particular, I suppose, merely because I spend so much of my time drawing them and thinking about them, though.
Do you believe in luck, or just chance?: Depends on the situation.
MEDIA/ART:
What are some of your favorite movies?: You really don't want to get me started. Really.
What are some of your favorite fiction books?: The Last Unicorn, Watership Down, Ender's Game, The Power of One, The Poisonwood Bible...uh...Tailchaser's Song...dark animal fantasy books in general.
Video games?: All the Pokémon games. That's all I play. I'm not really into video games.
Songs?: I can't even list my favorite composers/bands/singers within reason, much less songs.
Put up some song lyrics that you think speak for you:
The whole song "Blue" from Cowboy Bebop. Or "Cloud Nine" from Wolf's Rain. Or "Strangers" from Wolf's Rain. Or...anything from Wolf's Rain. Or, hell, anything Yoko Kanno, for that matter.
Ever written poetry?: Yes--I used to quite a bit.
Have you SHOWN said poetry to anyone? Oh, yes. I'm published, and I've read them to my classes and such.
Would you say you’re artistic?: Most definitely!
How do you manifest it?: All the time.
Does your art have special meaning to you?: What artist's art doesn't?
Does anything else matter?: Many, many things. Most things in life matter--and I omit things that don't out of my life.
MAD SCIENTIST:
If you were a mad scientist, what would your world-domination plot be?: Oh, my friends and I have discussed this before! KK and I are going to use shounen-ai and the song Butterfly to get nominated as President and Vice-President, and then we'll take over the rest of the world from there. But it'll be okay--everyone will be so addicted to the boy-love they won't even notice.
Who, from your friends list, would be your loyal second-in-command?: KK, Nicole, and Cody could all be my second-in-commands. Then I'd have a whole bunch of my other friends be the third-in-commands. We'd be unstoppable!
Who would be the only one who could stop you?: Um...Masashi Kishimoto. If he uncanonified SasuNaru. ;_;
Who would be your bumbling, comic-relief goon?: The Salula.
SECRET AGENT:
If you were a secret agent, what would your code name be?: Salulakanno528.
Would you work solo, or with a team?: Probably a team of my best friends.
Who would be the ally back at base who gives you support?: Mr. Baxter. Because he killed the cyborg in that one dream I had--I figure he'd make a good ally. XD;
What would be your cool secret agent vehicle? Would you have secret agent ‘gadgets’? What would they be?: I would have a Pikachu bug as my secret agent vehicle, and I'd probably just have a DVD player and CD player and lots of anime in it. My gadget would be...The Salula.
