Today was a mostly good day, though I admit I was expecting maybe a little more because of a dream I had. XD; Not going to recount the dream--too personal, and too little to tell to begin with--but the dream made me really, deeply happy while it lasted. It concerned that touchy subject and basically solved all of the "problem", and while it was going on I could have sworn it was real. I was so, so sad to wake up and realize it wasn't. ;_;

Dream #2 (which I had a little before I woke up for school) was somewhat amusing, though. In it, I was sitting in what seemed to be an English class, and there was one guy in the class who would not shut up about pigeons. The class kept "shhh!"ing him, and the teacher kept trying to move on with the lesson, but every time the teacher started talking again, he'd somehow link what she was saying with pigeons. XD; He would go into great depth about them, and none of us were even slightly interested in what he had to say. Funny, because in real life I am actually quite a big fan of pigeons. I'd absolutely love to have some racing or messenger pigeons. ♥

Mom actually left somewhat on time today. Sort of. Better than usual, anyway. First period was frustrating because Mr. Baxter wanted me to clean all period (which I did, grudgingly), and the art room is currently covered in about a foot of magazine shreddings. I wish I was exaggerating. He wants me to clean that up. XD; So, instead I decided to clean out the counter and sink. The sink was scary. I think we should pass a new law that says Freshmen are not allowed to use glue under any circumstances, because I can't even describe all the creative things they decided to do with glue that ruined many a paintbrush or other art supply. I got frustrated with that eventually (because washing half-dried glue out of paint containers is an exercise in futility) and decided that sweeping was indeed much less painless.

Meanwhile, Jasmine somehow knocked over Rachel's chair, causing Rachel's finger to get smashed under the chair. Rachel's finger swelled up into a quarter-sized lump about an inch high. No exaggeration there, either. It was so gnarly looking that the school nurse wanted her to go home. And this was her finger, so that's saying a lot. :O She was having way too much fun showing off her battle wounds, though, so she refused to go home. XD;;

I actually would have been much happier cleaning if Ben hadn't called dibs on the music directly when I was a foot away from the CD player, about to put a CD on. D: So I had to listen to Ben-music all period.

Government was fairly dull, though we discussed some recent issues, including touching on the whole abortion thing--which is one of the few current debates I actually have a strong opinion on. Unfortunately, no debates got to erupt because he started touching on the subject right before the bell rang. Disappointing--I love watching debates, and maybe even putting in my two cents if I feel obligated. The student teacher is still doing almost everything--we barely even saw Kreizenbeck all period.

PE was pretty fun, as Tim and I were actually playing very well today. Ciera wasn't there, though. Hmmm.

Lunch was mostly just Shannon and I having funny conversations about whether fangirls or fanboys are scarier. XD; Zoe and KK weren't around most of lunch, and Cody left us behind to work on Senior Project stuff. I felt so abandoned! *Sob* Not really. Only a little bit that I couldn't help. XD;

Art was cool. :D Apparently Jeremy (AKA real-life Shinji...seriously) was trying to convert Kathryn into being a Jehovah's Witness, so he gave her this book on the Bible and such. It was by the same people who do those really stupid/funny religious pamphlets and magazines I collect for my amusement, so I was entralled beyond words. The best part, though, was hands-down the illustrations. I mean, seductive!Jesus, a baby that was so deformed I can't even begin to describe it, people with really stupid expressions, and what looked suspiciously like a Star Wars poster bible-ified. XD;; We were practically crying with laughter. My concept for my next concept piece is going excellently, too.

As we were leaving Art, Zoe, Tony, and I passed Trevor, who was carrying a big box of soda on his shoulder that was called "Bawls". Tony immediately yelled out, "Nice Bawls, Trevor! Can I hold them?" etc. It sounds really crude and not funny, but for some reason the timing was just perfect, and Zoe and I went into hysterics. It was so perfectly executed. XD;

We just talked about Pride and Prejudice in English. It's actually a rather witty novel--fairly enjoyable.

I just read Pride and Prejudice and some of the newspaper in Anatomy, and sat around for the rest of the period, feeling somewhat abandoned. It seems lately I've been going through these weird little phases where I feel sort of ignored--isolated. I think it's just my imagination, and (again) me over-interpreting things, but... *Sigh* It's kind of hard sometimes, because I sort of have this feeling like I just blend into the background much of the time, and my presence is taken for granted. Maybe not, I jut feel that way at times. I generally snap out of it after a few days, once I get to spend more one-on-one time with my friends, but it's a rather unpleasant feeling while it lasts.

Mom found homes for the Sheska's brown baby guinea pig and Winry's baby, so I didn't get to say goodbye to them. :/ It's actually with a good friend of the family, though, who I have a lot of trust in and I therefore know I'll get to see them again. And I can always call and ask how they're doing. We're down to three now, which is a much more manageable number.

The rest of the day I did pretty much nothing but freak out over sending college stuff that it actually turned out I didn't need to send yet. Go figure.

Getting ready to move. The house will either be finalized by tomorrow or Monday, so we're moving in pretty darn soon.

I feel like there was more to say, but I guess not. I'm going to go play Gameboy before bed.

See, your dreams are amusing! ...Pigeons. XD

I'm surprised that you've never heard of Bawls before. It's a big thing at Colossalcon, with the joke and all. (If you didn't the the bottles, they're blue and bumpy. XD) And for some reason, the only place you can get them around here is a computer store. XD

No, I haven't heard of them. O_o; I thought it was really funny, though. XD; I love anime convention in-jokes. "CHAIR!" [/massive AX reference that I don't even entirely understand]
